“Arrived at our hotel and started looking for nearby restaurants. After reviewing a good number of options and checking out the menu and prices at various places, opted for this restaurant. Nothing short of outstanding from a food perspective. They offer a combination platter for $10.25 which included pork fried rice and a roast pork egg roll AND 48 choices of chicken, pork, beef, or shrimp items. And, there are dozens of other menu options besides the combination platter. Food was very tasty (beef & broccoli for me; sweet and sour shrimp for my lady friend). This is a small, casual place; nothing fancy and located in a strip mall with several other options. We would definitely eat here again if we return to this area. \n\nAs a side note, while we were eating at the restaurant, there were at least 15 people who popped in to pick up a take out order. \n\nA worthy place for palate, tummy and budget.“

“In conclusion, my girlfriend thought most of the food was mid-bedsides the Beijing beef and I kinda agree. The customer service was amazing though shoutout to dude at the register. Might’ve fallen in love I- I don’t know. Also the Beijing beef is back. #TheBeijingBeefIsBack“

“This is the best Chinese food in Baton Rouge. They are so nice and accommodating. The lady at the front speaks enough English and is so sweet. I’ve been coming here for years. This place is also good if you’re looking for something healthy, but don’t feel like cooking. You just have to know what to order. I LOVE this place.“

“China Town is the only place I go to for my vegetable fried rice. Let me tell you… they have THE BEST garlic sauce in town! When I began ordering from China Town, I had EVERYONE in my office ordering my exact order. We eat there at least 2 times a week. Service is swift. Food is great. They are kind. I will always go to China Town! : )“

“I have never written a review before but I feel so strongly about how good this food is I had stop mid-meal to give them their flowers. Chinese food is my go-to, eat it at least once a week. I’ve tried so many different restaurants and this is hands down the best. Everything I’ve had from here is outrageously good. They’re always so nice as well. China Kitchen, I love you.“

“We like this place, easily in the top 3 of all Chinese food in Baton Rouge. We like the hot and spicy chicken (very spicy) Kung Pao chicken and Mongolian Beef (also spicy). Everything was a bit on the spicier side than expected but we love spicy here! so no complaint from me but just as a guide for others. I personally love it that a place actually makes the dishes that are supposed to be spicy actually spicy! At most other places even the dishes that are supposed to be spicy have zero heat to them, so I applaud this place!
The Beef and Broccoli is also great. Egg rolls and Crab Rangoon very good. Only thing we don't like is the teriyaki chicken it comes on a stick and was over cooked, it pretty tough but the crispy outside was nice and flavor good and the fried rice isnt the best I have ever had but most dishes have a sauce on the meat part and mixes well with the rice to make the rice so good! Staff are always very friendly and helpful, we will keep going here.“

“This is a very relaxed, casual little restaurant that has been our favorite year after year. We are two old folks who like different things, so we always each have the luncheon buffet and a drink. We go early, early and are there by 11 AM, generally the first in line. He has chicken, while I have beef. The food is always fresh, simply cooked and delightful. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. These folks have our highest recommendation.“

“I placed a pick up order and I ended up running behind and was not going to be getting there until after they had technically closed. The worker was very understanding and accommodating and allowed me to pick up my order even though they were officially closed. Seems like a small thing, but making an exception that makes the customer experience good even when he had no obligation to do so is very rare these days. Very good customer service and good food“

“Ordered to go, and everything was delicious. We had a crew so quite a big order of beef and broccoli, general tso chicken, kung pao chicken, vegetable mei fun, spare ribs, wonton soup, crab rangoons, chicken fried rice, and egg rolls. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the kung pao chicken and vegetable mei fun which were both very flavorful. I usually need to add soy sauce to mei fun, but not this one. The rangoons had the imitation crab meat in them, not just cream cheese. Definitely going to be my go to take out spot from now on.“

“If you're ever near Airline and Bluebonnet and looking for a great meal, you have to check out this Chinese place. Seriously, it never fails. For about $13 dollars, you get a huge box of food and a drink, and it's always fresh and tastes great. My wife and I frequent this place for takeout because the portions are generous and the food quality is consistently good. If you're looking for a great value, you won't be disappointed.“

“By far the best and most consistent Chinese take out in Baton Rouge. I haven’t tried any dish here that I did not enjoy. My go to menu option from here is the Crab Rangoon. This is one of the places that I always recommend when somebody’s craving Chinese food.“

“To be honest the food was good tables clean and there was plenty of arts and designs that I liked but there was one problem about he dessert, there was fruit flies landing and flying around the dessert, I didn't wanna come off on the wrong hand or sound mean but I just wanted to tell y'all.but otherwise I would come back for the food and the peanut sauce is a 10/10“

“My boyfriend and I have eaten at OEC quite a few times since they opened. We’ve tried the hibachi, sushi, and juicy seafood. The prices are great for the portions you get! We love all of the sushi options and the quality of them. Sometimes the hibachi could use more sauce or flavoring, but they are still really good!! The service is amazing, they are always kind and helpful.“
