“They have the best mochi donuts ever!! Every mochi donut I’ve ever tasted has a sickeningly sweet icing on top, unless I get a plain one with just powdered sugar. They do have that “beignet” style donut as well which was delicious. The donut quality themselves had a perfect light and chewy texture and are made of 100% rice flour for the GLUTEN-FREE folks out there. I was hesitant about getting the flavored glazed style ones, but I did since it was buy 3 get 1 free. I’m so glad I did too! I got dark chocolate hersheys and peanut butter, and they ended up being my favorite ones. Not too sweet at all and the chocolate was delicious and melty and not cold hard icing like other places.
The Korean fried chicken is the best in this city too! The soy garlic flavor was perfectly balanced, the chicken was juicy and crispy, and the fries with the cheese powder on top were super good and crispy as well!!
The lady behind the counter was so friendly! I have nothing but good things to say about this place! I hope more people find out about Mochi Machi to keep them in business!“

“We moved nearby a couple months back and we find ourselves in the store multiple times a week. The lady behind the counter remembers us and specifically our dog (layla) and is always so welcoming, helpful and friendly. We have tried almost all the donuts and really like everything. Favorite is the apple fritter and bacon maple donut. Kids just love the donut holes.“

“Popped in cause I was hungry and had time to kill. So glad I did! They are friendly, quick, they load you down and it's affordable. I got a BLT but the chocolate fritter, bear claw things were quite the sirens call. Next time. Cause there will be a next time! lol I need to try the sliders.“

“I Love this Place Soooo much!!!!! Its amazing there donuts are super soft and flavorful!!! My favorite thing is the sausage and cheese kolaches 😍😍😍i can never get bored of them !! The workers there are also great !!! Definitely recommend this !!“

“Whoever thought it was a good idea to make a donut shop consisting of only cake-style donuts- God bless you! I ordered through Uber Eats so I can't speak to the service or atmosphere but the donuts were/are DELICIOUS!!!!!! Next time I'm in NOLA, I will be visiting here. However, if you want to open a store in MD, I can promise you at least one faithful customer 😉“

“This place is a hidden gem! The staff is committed to providing top notch service to their customers. I came in looking for some of their incredible cake donuts with strawberries and blueberries on top (yes- a donut with fresh fruit on top- yum!), and when they didn’t have any in the display case they offered to custom make them for me. While the girls were decorating my donuts, the other customers in the shop were all discussing how this shop is has the best service in town. Amazing donuts and top notch service- kudos to the owner for understanding that his employees are the heart and soul of this wonderful local business!“

“The main reason for giving for on the food is that we ordered a bunch of kolaches. Once we got them back to the house we realized they cut the sausage in half. I would have gladly paid more to have an entire sausage not cut in half in my kolache. It was more bread than meat. The donuts are made fresh and are very flavorful and varied“

“Listen, I'm from Durham NC and know about the hole in the wall spots having THE BEST food...I wished I would have studied the menu more to try more things but what I had was 🔥🔥 the Hot Sausage half dressed was good and the donuts were 10 out of 10! There was a large group with us and the lady taking our order was patient and kind! If I'm ever back in NOLA, I stopping back through!!!“

“I came to love Nolita after someone recommended their King Cake at the King Cake Hub right after Covid and I never looked back. By far the tastiest confection I’ve ever had. “We have a tradition of coming to Tastee #73 on the first day of school every year for a Tastee treat! This year marked 10 years from Pre-K3 to 7th grade! The staff is always so sweet and friendly. The staff presented us with complimentary petit fours to celebrate the occasion! (Along with our traditional fresh donuts) 🍩 Highly recommended (must try the donut holes)!!“

“What more can we say? Other than this restaurant is above a 5 star rating! We are from another state and have eaten in many different states in our travels. The waitress we had was spot on in her service to us. She knew when to come over and was super personable, helpful and funny! This restaurant has the best tasting, most fresh food we have ever had anywhere. We had hamburgers and fries for dinner. The fries and burgers were scrumptious , fresh tasting, and the temperature was perfect! The breakfast we had the next day was the same, cooked to perfection! We asked to have the cook come out so we could give her a tip as they don't get any unless you specify to have a tip given to them in cash. She came out and she was so sweet we got to hug her, twice :-). We asked her to come home with us, but I guess she likes it here. Don't miss this place, it is the best place in the U.S. for food, service and prices! We love Joe's Cafe & Donuts & King Cakes on 2691 Barataria Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072. Blessings to all of you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love of your job and to your customers!“

“Best donuts!! I haven't had any of the plate meals, but some of the patrons were telling out of towners how good the food is. I went on Lundi Gras morning so it was really busy but had a good vibe going on. Nobody was fussing or super impatient. The staff worked their butts off. I'll definitely be going back.“

“My first experience at a Cafe Du Monde was at this location a few days ago. The staff was extremely kind and the environment was calm even though it is located inside the mall. It was a good break from the mall environment and super cute! The beignets were delicious, I can understand why they are a staple! Thank you for your kind hospitality to the Cafe Du Monde staff at this location! We appreciate you all!“

“Came to this location three times during my visit to the Nola( Metairie area). The food is SO yummy and the staff are beyond kind! They are so friendly. Mia, and Luke are amazing! I got coffee and donuts one visit, the special catfish sandwhich the next visit, and the special shrimp sandwhich the last visit. The hot food was cooked to order and it was all Delish!!!! Also got chocolate chip cookies to try later- these looked great too.“
