“LOVE D & D DRIVE IN (or Double D as the locals know it)!!!! Been eating here since I was a kid. Since they got got their power back up after Hurricane Ida, we've eaten there at least once a week. I think we actually ate there 3 times one weekend They actually worked with no a/c for quite a while. Love these people so much!!! Hot dogs with chili are my all time favorite - especially the red weenies on the weekends. Burgers are awesome too. Recently had the fried chicken, which was also fabulous and it came with a salad!!!!“
“We stopped by here for some BBQ on our drive home from the Outer Banks. It was worth the few miles out of our way to try this place.My wife had the Bangin BBQ platter and I had the beef BBQ platter. Both had an excellent smoked flavor and various sauces paired well for each plate. Tender and juicy. The sides we had were the cole slaw, sweet potato and mac and cheese. You cannot go wrong with any of those.The service was friendly and fast. We sat out on their small deck and enjoyed our lunches.This was the perfect stop for lunch to break up a long drive.“

I had them put mine on a salad with their house dressing. Then I get the Cajun Tart custard pie on my way home from Cajun Pecan House…. My Lord. Nothing in the world could come close. If Heaven were a food, you would find it here.“

“Sunday evening, I had an excellent experience. First the place is open, friendly and very clean. From the minute I walked in the door to the moment I left everyone was super friendly, very professional, and happy to help. The food was great quality and very tasty. Perfectly cooked and fresh! The atmosphere was open and inviting and even had a couple chats with other patrons. What a great place to go hang out a bit, have a real quality bite to eat, and have fun all the while. Their pricing is really good and their portions are plentiful! If you read this far go check them out, you will not be disappointed!“
“Sweetest people ever that work! Food was amazing! I got the chicken fried steak, gravy on the side with a salad and mashed potatoes! Everything was delicious! My bf got a burger and fries! He was having a rough day and the ladies picked up on that and made him smile and laugh!“
