“My wife and i are traveling and wanted to watch the play off game. We are out of towners.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the bartender Megan and another wonderful woman who i would think was the owner and or manger. We were made to feel as if we were long time patons. The service was outstanding.
The food was delicious, we had the cheeseburger, quesadilla and grabbed wings and potato skins to go.
We felt welcomed and at home at this local sports bar.“

“I went to the Backspace Bar & Kitchen after getting in on a later flight and ordered a beer and shrimp po'boy. It was a super chill night - I was just one of a few folks in there around 8PM. The beer was wonderful, the bartender was so nice, and the whole vibe was just what I needed after a stressful day of travel. The shrimp po'boy was really good - really well seasoned and balanced nicely with fresh, crisp veggies and pickles.“

“No real outside signage to inform walkers that a bar and restaurant is there. No clear entrance to bar/restaurant unless you are a guest at the hotel. Only managed to stumble across it by word of mouth. The lighting is a bit too dim, way too loud to hear the bartender, kept having to ask him to repeat himself. Really limited vegetarian options on the menu but the feed green tomato sandwich is good. The service and knowledgeable recommendations by Austin were excellent, Glenn was extremely nice and helpful.“

The Salad was great, but I think the beets could have been cooked longer and it would have made the dish better. The sweet potato was perfect. We enjoyed our fresh strawberries served in an antique tea cup with a side of homemade chocolate. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations are needed for this restaurant and all of the good restaurants in New Orleans“

The crayfish eggroll with a light savory sauce was cooked to perfection and BBQ wings w/ celery sticks were the best. Food was served with a beautiful presentation. This spot is a hidden gem.
