“Came for the first time last night in a hurry. Got shrimp fried rice, and pork egg rolls. Egg rolls were AWESOME. Fried rice came PACKED full for a small, was super full off $14 tip included. Not sure what others are talking about the condiments, they are always on the counter, free, as many as you want. Every sauce they have and no they do not charge for condiments and they are friendly, professional, and the prices are very good for the amount of food you get. It was delicious and already have plans to go back tomorrow night. Ordered online and it was ready before 10 minutes piping hot.“

“Not to give away any secrets, but this has to be the best Chinese place in the city for take out. Big portions. Real sauces, not just variations of the sweet red sauce (they have that too). I ordered a snack from here many years ago and was so shocked at the amount of meat in my fried wontons and the quality of the portions...I thought it was a fluke. Nope. I just got food from here last week and it was exactly the same! I've only had this quality one other time in my life from a Chinese place, and it was a sit down/dine in restaurant.
This place is super tiny, but the lady at the counter is on top of things and very nice. You will be just as shocked as I was that such good food came out of this tiny spot in a sketchy area.

The space is small so we have never sat there and eaten but whether my husband or I go by for pickup or to place an order, it’s all done fast and we never have to wait long. They even do big orders. I usually run a quick errand and swing by to pick it up. Their “small,” which honestly looks like a large, is only $10 and can feed two people for their fried rice. I always stop by when I’m visiting New Orleans. This is our go-to spot to support a small business. The owner, a small and sweet lady, will even come out to check on you. Good sized portion / more than I expected.
Chicken and sauce were good / flavorful.
Nothing much in the way of veggies (eg just a few small onions). White rice was middle of the road / good. Egg roll was hot, and same as you’ll find from freezer section in big-box store.
Ordering by phone was easy and friendly.
Food was ready earlier than advised (+). Good all around ordering, pick-up experience.
Pricing was as you’d expect.

“Atmosphere doesn’t matter. I’ve been in New Orleans for 4 months and this is only the 2nd satisfying order of fried chicken I’ve had. I ordered the 10 piece with rice. The wings were perfectly crispy and crunchy and seasoned all the way through. The rice was rich and fluffy. I payed under $10 for my meal, and couldn’t eat the whole thing in one sitting. Good stuff y’all!“

“This was an amazing find. I was initially looking for a buffet but this is more an a La carte type of restaurant. The portion size was plenty as it could have fed three if not four people depending on your portion. Food came out quickly and food temperature. I’ve been coming to this place my whole life, and I just wanted to leave a truly heartfelt review. The food has always been amazing, but I want to share something personal.

Some time ago, my dad became very sick due to his own health issues — not from the food here. During that time, he wouldn’t eat anything for weeks. One day, I brought home a plate of food from this restaurant, and as soon as he smelled it, he said, “That smells really good.” I told him I had plenty and offered him some. He finally decided to try it, and after the first bite, he said, “That’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever had.”

From that day on, my dad started eating again—this food gave him his appetite back. For the remaining weeks of his life, he ate from here almost every day. Because of this restaurant, he gained some strength back, and I truly believe that him eating again gave him more time with me.

“Order here before anywhere else on the West Bank. We ordered pickup and everything we tried was amazing. We got the general tso, which was perfectly spiced and tasty. Fried rice was good. Orange chicken w/veggies was great. Not super crispy as it came in Styrofoam, but still excellent tasting and breading stayed on the chicken. It also came with an eggroll thay was very tasty/crispy. Crab Rangoons were perfect. On a whim we also got bbq chicken wings and fries. The fries were a little soggy bc of the styrofoam packaging but that was to be expected. The wings however... omg so good! Still crispy and flavor was on point. Great bbq sauce, nothing like your standard store bought flavor. Good prices, HUGE portions.

It's not really a dine-in place, there was maybe one table. But aside from that, this will be our new go-to for Chinese food!“

“Everything you'd expect from a solid Chinese restaurant in New Orleans. They have all the classics and favorites, the sauces are very consistent and the service is always nice. They offer tofu dishes and let me change the sauce for variety. Delivery fee is very affordable, always arrives promptly, and they're good about following delivery instructions. I've never been disappointed, it's my go-to spot in mid city. The general tso and orange sauce is on point!

Vegetarian options: Consistently good fried tofu. I get the general tso tofu and I'm happy every time.

Parking: There are very limited parking spots on the street, some people park in the smoothie king lot but it gets really congested with people who don't know how to park.

We picked up our order gave them a 50 dollar bill to include a tip and we did not receive the fried dumplings. The rest of the food was good and made to order, but don’t say you’re going to get an order of fried dumplings for free with orders of 35.00 or more if they aren’t going to honor that. “I never had an issue here with the service or the food. Once in a while I’ll get Chinese fry rice over and I’d choose here. I love that the rice is not greasy. It doesn’t give me stomach or chest burn. Taste just right not salty.
The things I see people complaining about is crazy. This is a small business. A fast Chinese food business. Please don’t go expecting fine dining quality. I saw one comment about chicken fry rice not having peas and carrots lol. Chinese fry rice does not normally comes with peas nor carrots. Panda Express has rice wiith peas which is a vegetable fry rice.“
