“I came to love Nolita after someone recommended their King Cake at the King Cake Hub right after Covid and I never looked back. By far the tastiest confection I’ve ever had. That brown butter satsuma glaze is to die for. Perfection to say the least. Everything I’ve eaten from the display case has been so delicious.“

“Great donut shop! Coming in at 4 AM and getting hot, fresh donuts is the best for late-night hunger. Everything I’ve tried has been a hit—especially the shrimp and grits and the breakfast items. Definitely my favorite spot for that.
About four years ago there was a cashier on the overnight shift who was amazing. She was so fast and completely on top of her job—handling the drive-through, the counter, and the delivery apps going off nonstop without missing a beat. She was a real asset to the business. Wonder where she went… it’s too bad she’s not still there.
I haven’t been by in a while, but I’m back in New Orleans now and will be coming around a lot more often. Highly recommend!“

I came in looking for some of their incredible cake donuts with strawberries and blueberries on top (yes- a donut with fresh fruit on top- yum!), and when they didn’t have any in the display case they offered to custom make them for me. While the girls were decorating my donuts, the other customers in the shop were all discussing how this shop is has the best service in town. “Traveling Foodie here! My husband and I visited the O’Reillys and asked them a good place to eat in town and they sent us to Joe’s! We are from Texas and was driving back to Gonzales from taking an airboat tour and we were hungry!! Food was amazing. I had the shrimp and grits, my husband got the JoJo special and we shared the Joe’s swamp fries and we at every bike! The swamp fries we ordered the sauce on the side and the fish had such a good breading on it, and the food was fresh right out of the kitchen!! The sauce was AMAZING they sell it by the package to take it with you!! I plan to go back because we did not try any of the beignets or pastries, they all looked amazing though and will be trying them SOON! It will be worth the drive and the husband and wife that works there at the Metairie location where as sweet as can be! Very helpful, very friendly and made us feel welcomed and right at home!
