“Great spot, one of my absolute favorites in NOLA. Meghan is incredible and always takes good care of my group when I’m in! I also went for the first time on a Friday afternoon recently and found out that they make a special lemon garlic butter that they put on steaks and stuff, only available on Fridays. I ordered a tuna steak and they put that on there, oh my. Will definitely be back for lunch next time I’m in town.“

“Never had a bad experience at the spotlight. In fact the very first time I went in for lunch the server made a lasting impression on me with her hospitality skills and judging service to all. She continues to uphold her high standards of customer service. As recently as the past Monday, their red beans and rice lunch was flawless and delicious. Keep up the great work Kelly w/ a y!!“

“When we want a good burger, we go to Oscars! Great burgers and baked potato or sweet potato and a cold beer for a great dinner! Service Is great the ladies that work there are very friendly and the atmosphere is interesting, especially if you like Marilyn Monroe! Kind of a neighborhood bar so don’t expect the greatest atmosphere but it’s a fun place to have a burger.“

“Wednesday Steak Night: the cook works miracles with the steaks, making up cheaper cuts with skill and ingredients. The potatoes and green beans are also seasoned well. We try to get there for happy hour- cheap beer, but Cold and Fresh! Sky is an awesome bartender! Great music and vibe as well 5 stars and ❤️❤️ ??“

“If you like a dive bar, you'll like the atmosphere. Chef is excellent t and personable. Cook your food to order. Bartender was very nice, crowd friendly.

Your first visit will get you hooked for sure. Great for parties and gatherings of all kinds. Can't say enough about this place.“
“I was lost in this world; not knowing who I was or what I was doing. But then, I had a slice of Broadway Pizza, and my life has never been the same since. A true piece of pizza artistry“
“We ordered a lot of small plates and enjoyed every one of them. The charred broccoli was fantastic and we paired it with a side of rice to soak up all of that great sauce. The Salad was great, but I think the beets could have been cooked longer and it would have made the dish better. The sweet potato was perfect. We enjoyed our fresh strawberries served in an antique tea cup with a side of homemade chocolate. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations are needed for this restaurant and all of the good restaurants in New Orleans“

“I went into the Bronx Bar, which is the bar side of New York Pizzeria, a half an hour before closing to grab some take-out Italian for my chef husband to eat when he got home after working a night shift. I got the pasta marinara with meatballs since we were burned out on delivery pizza. I was plesantly surprised. The kitchen was technically closed for the night, but you could get certain menu items if you ordered at the bar. The food was excellent-the meatballs were definitely homemade, and the bartender gave me a free soda as I waited at the bar for my food to come out of the kitchen. I recommend this place, very good for a late-night bite to go.“
