“Really nice locally owned coffee shop. The coffee drinks are really good here. I love that you can taste the coffee in the drinks unlike a lot of places that you only taste flavoring. The owner was there when we stopped in and she was great to talk with. She knows here coffee and selects a small batch roaster for her beans. Highly recommend stopping in and checking the place out if you're in the area. They are about to open a ice cream bar in the shop soon so I will be going back to try that out.”

“The menu is excellent. The food was memorable. The soft shell crab was outstanding lightly battered, large and available plain or with a fresh lemon butter or crawfish cream sauce. All were great. The Steak Diane was beautiful when served and tasted even better. Service was as good or better than the food.
The prices were very reasonable. A hidden jewel family restaurant. I highly recommend”

“Went Halloween decor shopping today at Home Goods and had to stop in next door for a Crème Brûlée tea from UR teas. We walked up to the door and it was locked. The owner came and opened the door and said he was still there brewing so we could come in even though he just closed. He was super friendly and talked tea with us while making our drinks. If you’re ever out by this little gem you gotta stop in and give their Crème Brûlée tea a try. It’s my fav!”

The breakfast is healthy and delicious and the lovely ladies that take your order know you and remember what you love to eat. Its my favorite escape. “We have been about 6 times with friends and everyone loved everything we tried. The food is fresh with multiple layers of flavor. The negative ratings are about service or wait times. (Which we have not had a problem with) But the food is what matters! I recommend the poblano rice and plantains as sides. Nachos as an appetizer or entree because it is not a hunk of cheese melted on old repeatedly fried chips we find everywhere else. The guacamole is the best I have ever had. But, as a dessert gal, I have tried them all and there is not one I would not get againm(hint: the chocolate cake with flan on top is my favorite)”

“We happened upon this diner right at 10:30 so lunch was available as well as the all day breakfast. My husband got the roast beef poboy and I got the goolosh off the breakfast menu, with a small taste of the red beans which was the special. Food was great, but even better was the service. Small relaxed interior and was greeted by 3 employees when we arrived. Server was friendly and owner came by to chat and give recommendations. If I lived close, I imagine I’d be a regular and they would end up my friends :).”
