“Hubby and I had an early dinner here on a Saturday. We started with crawfish hush puppies and they were delicious. Our cocktails were good. I got the frenier oysters and they were ok. I dont think id order it again. Hubby had the fried shrimp he subbed a baked potato. It was lukewarm and kind of hard. Food came out in a timely manner and out waiter did a good job.“

The Philly cheesesteak was seasoned just right and packed with flavor, and the shrimp were large, juicy, and downright delicious. To wash it all down, do yourself a favor and try their hibiscus tea and lemonade mix — the perfect refreshing balance of sweet and tangy. Overall, Sam’s Southern Eatery earns a solid 10/10 from us.
