“Bei Jing is the absolute best Chinese food I have ever tasted. Their ingredients are always fresh and cooked to order. I can't tell you how many times I've been disappointed with other Chinese food restaurants, especially in this area. But Bei Jing has never disappointed me when it comes to quality, freshness and taste. A cut above the rest and I'm so glad I live close to this location because I'll never order Chinese food any place else.

Parking: It's in the strip mall next to El Paso Restaurant. So usually plenty of parking spots in the lot.“

Ordered Generals Chicken off Chef’s Specials. Added pork egg roll.
Good sized portion / more than I expected.
Chicken and sauce were good / flavorful.
Nothing much in the way of veggies (eg just a few small onions). White rice was middle of the road / good. Egg roll was hot, and same as you’ll find from freezer section in big-box store.
Ordering by phone was easy and friendly.
Food was ready earlier than advised (+). Good all around ordering, pick-up experience.
Pricing was as you’d expect.
Solid offering and would do again when back in area.

“One of the best buffets anywhere. Crabs, shrimp, frog legs all very good. Crabs were not huge, but they were full. Sushi, Chinese items all good quality for a buffet. Price was very good as well, 100% will return.

Parking: Plenty of room behind plus was able to park truck w/ boat and trailer on the side of the building with easy access back to highway.“

“This place definitely goes overlooked! The food is delicious, and it is really cheap. I usually get the general tsaos chicken, that comes with shrimp fried rice and an eggroll. It's only like 8 dollars and its a lot of food. Everything I've tried has been really good. The shrimp mei fun noodles are really good and have alot of huge shrimp. I've eaten here so many times and the food is always cooked the same.The staff are all really nice. The place has a really cozy Chinese feel. Cool decorations and little statues and fountains and awesome artwork on the walls. I super recommend Trey Wah for lunch or dinner if you work or live in destrehan. Can't better the prices for the quality and quantity you get.“

“This was the BEST Chinese food we have had in years because we live in Florida now and were visiting a friend. There were 3 of us at lunch. My husband and I shared a lunchtime Shrimp with Hot Garlic Sauce, and requested it extra spicy. Our friend had a Mandarin Chicken with white meat, which was an extra cost. At first I thought the lunch prices were a little high, but the huge servings really made it a value. The shrimp with extra spicy hot garlic sauce was loaded with shrimp, freshly cooked veggies, and was perfectly seasoned. Even the combination fried rice was loaded with shrimp and other meats and was absolutely delicious. This meal was hands down the BEST Chinese food we've had in years. Our friend ordered a Mandarin Chicken which he thoroughly enjoyed. The portions are HUGE and could easily make 2 meals. The service was cordial and our waitress checked on us to ensure we were fine. Also, the restroom and the restaurant were clean. We highly recommend this place and will return when we are in the area.“

“They have good Chinese. Convenient location and there's plenty of parking. The line/wait can be 10 - 15 minutes when there's a rush but the cooks are fast and there's tons of shopping options nearby. I keep busy instead of waiting.

Vegetarian options: I don't know for sure if they do no msg. But you can opt for no meat on just about all the options. It just depends on how you like your veggies and rice or noodles and which veggies you prefere. I didn't order tofu today but I thought there's was really good with every option.

Dietary restrictions: Salt is probably high
It's not overly oily
They do not have rice noodles that I'm aware of. I think the will do no msg or they used to. Asian is easier to avoid gluten, I think. (No all you can eat TG lol)“
