“For what could easily have just been a normal cafe tacked onto the plantation, we were really impressed by our lunch at this restaurant. Service was really friendly and quick (Hannah was lovely) and the food was so tasty. My wife had a blackened chicken sandwich with a side cup of chicken gumbo, and I tried the Cajun medley (red beans and rice with sausage, crawfish etoufee and chicken gumbo) which were all delicious, but particularly that gumbo. Definitely make time to stop for lunch here if you’re visiting the plantation.“
“This is definitely a must-see! The place is beautiful, especially the gorgeous oak trees. There are so many great spots for photos, and the pictures turn out amazing.
The Big House tour was fairly average, but the slave quarters are worth visiting, as they are an important part of the site’s history.“

“Very good and was my first time there…I had butter beans and shrimp dish; was delicious with a side of thinly sliced catfish. Their home made salad dressing was marvelous too. No room for dessert will have to try it next time! And believe me there will be a next time! Place was full but no waiting for a seat.
Go check out Noble’s in Lutcher/Gramercy, LA.“
