From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the manager who escorted me to the bar where I asked to sit. The gentleman tending the bar was top notch and the meal was incredible. There was a talented pianist playing last night and the ambiance was great. I got the Delmonico steak with hash browns and a salad….I’ll be back again before I leave town!“

“I booked a private party for 25 people for my dad’s 90th birthday. Ms Carol Gales was so easy to deal with and very helpful. On the night of the event everything was as promised. The food was great and the service team was spot on. The whole event went beautifully. I cannot thank you enough. Highly recommend. Also pricing was super reasonable!“

“While I’ll aways recommend, tonight definitely was a damper on what used to hold a top reputation for years for us. We went for our 17th anniversary (just 2 people). And I cannot tell you how many times we kinda got lost in the system and the service was soooo slow! They comp a drink but to be honest- 2 hours for a meal for 2 people is just long. Chocolate dessert seemed to be shrinking in size as well. For a $200 meal for 2, I personally wouldn’t have wanted to repeat the night again. Steak was okay but chewy and my husband’s more expensive steak, lacked flavor. I love ya La Boca but tonight will probably make us wait a bit to return.“

“A recommendation from Jonathon at the Hilton. Thank you. A Thursday night after we got into town. Happy they could get us in. Loved that the music being played at the moment was Steely Dan. We were seated and then greeted by our server, Katarina. What a lovely human. She was so great about walking us thru the menu, suggesting cocktails and just getting to know us in a genuine way. She had several tables but she checked in with us and ensured everything was on point.

Recs: Candied Bacon for starters. Best we’ve ever had. Loved the grilled broccoli. Perfectly melt in your mouth top sirloin and a baked potato with the works.

Great music and ambiance. Relaxing. Unrushed. Great team work from other servers helping to deliver food or drinks.

Katarina was top notch and she really made our dining experience fabulous for first night in NOLA.

“picked up a to-go order, slight issue with order coming through. get there, no order’s been put in. They apologize, and throw in free french fries. Something about my order came through as 2 burgers. We come back 20 minutes later. Not only do they bring out my food TO me but they also threw in the 2 burgers that the mix up came through as for free! Ray was the gentleman who assisted me, couldn’t have been more pleasant. 10/10 choice for dinner tonight on service alone“

“Stopped by for dinner since it was just steps from my hotel, and I’m glad I did! Sat at the bar and had the pleasure of being served by Charlie, who was super attentive and made the experience even better. I ordered the wedge salad, crab cake, and pork belly. The wedge salad and crab cake were my favorites — the crab cake had no filler and was full of flavor. I also learned they give free bread with meals, which I didn’t get to try this time but definitely plan to on my next visit. Portions are generous, so come hungry! Everything was a very large size, and I left feeling satisfied. Can’t wait to go back and try the bread pudding next time. Highly recommend if you’re in New Orleans and looking for a solid steakhouse experience with great service.“

“New Orleans is nortorius for not separating checks. I find this very inconvenient to the customer especially when you have party larger than two. Then it's very embarrassing to see customers passing the hat to pay for their portion of the meal with cash trying to figure out tax and tip. Everywhere I've been, there is no problem separating checks. I've been to New Orleans and requested separate checks and the waiters seem confused and then it becomes a huge delay. It's sad this restuarant has good food and atmosphere with this type of service and doesn't make it easy for customers to do business with them. They make easy for themselves but not for the customers. Go figure“

“My wife and I were in for the JazzFest celebrating my 50th birthday and went for dinner. Our steaks and seafood were absolutely amazing and words cannot describe our server Reba! She was fantastic! The assistant manager Gerard prepared our bananas Foster tableside and give us the history of the dish while he prepared it! It was to die for! ​The food here was excellent—everything was delicious and well-prepared. However, the cleanliness of the dining area holding it back from a perfect score. Our tablecloth had noticeable ring marks from previous cups, and the wall paintings were coated in dust. If they give the dining space a proper, thorough cleaning, this place would easily be a 5-star spot.“

“We had to wait a good 30 minutes for our food but we ordered a tomahawk. The food was great and filling. They have a great atmosphere that makes me want to come back. I did not know they have crab legs, which isn’t on the menu but they have them. I’ll definitely be back to try the crab legs. $60 for all you can eat.“

“First off all our server Lloyd went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had an issue with a steak being under cooked and then coming back being over cooked. Unfortunately ordering a steak medium well is a task that has to be done just right or what happened last night takes place. The manager Jaime also understood the situation and did everything right to rectify the it. It’s rare these days that you find a waiter/manager combination that knows how to handle a difficult situation and make things right. Thank you.“
