“Recommended by a New Orleans native so we gave it a try. The service was a 10/10. My mom loved her lunch entree but my redfish was a little dry. The hush puppies were sweeter than we were used to. The charbroiled oysters were great!!! The seafood gumbo tasted good but I wish there was more seafood.I would return to try something else.“

“This is everything I want in a gumbo place. Neighborhood feel, cold beer, salt of the earth people working here. Chef/owner first person I met.
Gumbo was excellent! Highly recommend the Mumbo Gumbo. Combo of everything. I was stuffed when I walked in and just wanted a cold beer to bide my time- sooooo glad I took their advice and tried the gumbo.
