I am gluten free and I had the Blackened Red Fish.
Our group was seated incredibly fast and they have enough room for big groups too if you don't mind be separated! We had 12 and were seated quickly!

Gluten Allergies Peeps-
I highly recommend if you are sensitive to gluten like me ~to just order anything grilled and nothing blackened or order maybe the sausage and red beans & rice!

We had 12 in our group and the food was awesome and they loved their choices for dinner and everyone's food looked delish and they said it was delicious!
**Now, even though I got sick from something, I am still going to say it was absolutely delicious, if you are gluten free just order grilled not blackened just be safe!**

They served huge proportions too!
Also, a thought ....
I may not have been sick from the blackened seasoning... we had been doing alot of eating out ~ it could have been other places and not the fish.. so I say with precaution- just be aware!

I got the lg rib plate with the add on chicken wings and my husband got the 1/2 chicken and we shared to try it all and man when I say it was amazing it was amazing. The sweet potato casserole was so good. The green beans where just alright but the corn, macaroni and cheese and the baked beans were really and did I say really good. Thanks for not disappointing us we drove two hours to get there and will 100% be back sooner rather than later.“

“First hands down shortstop is #1 in po-boys i guarantee it beings that it's the longest place I've eaten my po-boys beings my grandparents lived i grew up 4809 Eagle st one block over I remember my mom and Dem sending me there to make groceries before they were a football shot they were a grocery store they did sandwiches in the back are on the side but then they went to all po-boys can't say I blame them best in the city and surrounding area they're good in quality quantity hospitality and service but let me just say this the people in there are sweet and kind is going to be and most respectful give them the utmost please and yes sometimes you'll catch one who may have a slight attitude but just know there's nothing towards you and it's nothing personal 2 minutes later they'll be the sweetest soul there is you got to understand that human too yeah but that's very rare short stop is apart of the city I don't know how my life would have been without them seriously there not just a restaurant they treat you like family especially if you are a regular and always come in there oh and I say this for me and most of everybody I know that goes there this is for the tourist and those who have never really been there you can not have a shortstop poor boy without a barques root beer I guarantee you and da family will pass a good time oh and yes I wanted to add it is a very family orientated and family environment again with all due respect is mind your manners and you will fall In love enjoy chef Mac“

“New Orleans is nortorius for not separating checks. I find this very inconvenient to the customer especially when you have party larger than two. Then it's very embarrassing to see customers passing the hat to pay for their portion of the meal with cash trying to figure out tax and tip. Everywhere I've been, there is no problem separating checks. I've been to New Orleans and requested separate checks and the waiters seem confused and then it becomes a huge delay. It's sad this restuarant has good food and atmosphere with this type of service and doesn't make it easy for customers to do business with them. They make easy for themselves but not for the customers. Go figure“

“We live in Alabama and came to New Orleans for the weekend to see family. Hands down the best pizza we’ve ever had!!!! Super cheesy, not too greasy, cooked just right! “I used to go to Bonefish grill in Maryland, then I moved and the closest was Irvine, California, an hour from home. I went there occasionally, then I went and it was closed. So, I haven't been in a few years.

Lately have not been impressed with many restaurants takeout/delivery food but this was great. Delivery drive was friendly and time punctual, food was delivered hot. Ordered a chicken avocado fiesta sandwich with a side Italian salad, cheese pizza and tiramisu. Everything that was ordered was great!“
