“Cute little diner with awesome food! We got the Boudin balls and they were really good. For my entree I got the catfish plate and fries. I really liked the sauces that came with the boudin balls and catfish plate. I can’t recall what the sauce was called, but it was very tasty. Nothing but a friendly atmosphere and Southern Hospitality here.”

“Queen's Cuisine is definitely 5 out of 5 Beans using the old NOLA Tom Fitzmorris food critic scale. The stuffed Bell Pepper with shrimp and stuffed catfish fish exploded with flavor. The cornbread is old school from scratch, nothing frozen. If you're anywhere in NOLA metro, its a must stop. The dinning room is closed however you can call ahead or order from the window.”

When reading reviews we decided to try it since others liked it, and man did it taste great. The food was wonderful, but the hospitality of the owner and her employees was also top tier. “It is a good independent Business for snowballs and ice cream. You have to give thumbs up for a independent business band these days. It is hard to go up against the big corporations he has a good selection of snowballs and ice cream. He keeps a very clean place. The help is always courteous and very helpful. Also he has gift cards and daily sales I would recommend it for the whole family. I highly recommend it. It is worth the time to go check it out and enjoy a nice snowball or ice cream”

“Where to start?! What a cute place in what looked like an older part of town. We were very kindly greeted, e eryone was incredible nice, and the food was amazing. We had the breakfast bowl - absolutely amazing -the grits were delicious, the eggs were fluffy, and there was plenty of bacon. We also has the breakfast sandwich - it was a little fally-aparty so may need a fork. BUT the main stars? The bisuits and the beignets! The biscuits were HUGE - they are my new favorite (I even got another one to eat later)! Very light and fluffy (and a little doughy in the middle). The beignets were not traditional - more a flaky pillow of goodness. I'll definitely be back - as many times as possible when I'm back in New Orleans!”

If you’re planning to stop by, get there early there’s always a long line, and since everything is fresh, they do sell out! “My wife and I stayed at Ormond Manor last week for 5 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The overall property and the Manor are stunning. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite which was beautifully appointed and had plenty of space for us. Communication with Boyd the Operations Manager was courteous and professional. The included breakfast was so delicious and a wonderful way to start our day - everything on the menu was great. Brad and Aaliyah both provided outstanding service during breakfast. Unfortunately our schedule did not allow us to try the restaurant for lunch or dinner - but that gives us yet another reason to go back :-) I also liked the historical references around the property and in the Manor itself giving some insight into the history of the Manor and general area. Overall a clean and well-kept historical gem that gave us a quiet and relaxing stay.

Just to summarize:

=> Beautiful room and property
=> Delicious breakfast at the restaurant

“My friends and I got informed about this little hole in the wall from a waitress at Smitty’s Seafood Restaurant in Kenner. I am so blessed that we were told about this great bakery. Very sweet ladies were very helpful and knowledgeable. We got back to Houma and cut into the first one, we bought 2. Moist, yummy and fresh. 2 thumbs way up!”

“We eat at Olive Garden restaurants frequently. The food was superb and even though it was a Friday evening the wait was minimal. Parking however was a trial. You can park in a large open lot across the driveway, so that’s a good option.

Our waitress was superb and kept our glasses, salad and breadstick baskets full. We left full and happy. Highly recommend.”

“I got the “build your own plate” with chicken, hummus, whipped feta, dill feta, rice, red onion, cucumber and tomato salad (they forgot this), crispy chickpeas, garlic sauce, tzatziki sauce, and pita. The food was delicious fresh and flavorful, but I only gave four stars because I had issues with placing my order online. When I first placed my order, I was charged twice, but the order wasn’t even completed so I had to wait for the money to be refunded before retry my order which was then successful but my other issue was that when I tried to call the restaurant to confirm nobody ever answered luckily my order was placed and ready when I got there, but they did forget to add the cucumber and tomato salad.”

“I went with a large party with limited time. I called the day before and asked if we put our order in ahead of time if it could be ready for when we got there. Josey said it wouldn’t be a problem and just call with the order. I placed our order a couple hours later and she ensured everything would be ready. We walked in,our reserved table was waiting with all our food (still hot) and drinks. Ever single order was correct and the food was delicious. Since each meal was a separate check, Josey had the bills all ready next to each plate and it also helped us identify what each meal was. Our time was maximized due to the efficiency of Josey and the cook staff and it was greatly appreciated!”

“Extremely embarrassed to admit that TONIGHT was our very first steak night. The ribeye was delicious, the twice baked potatoes were so freaking goodddd! I missed ordering my usual bang bang shrimp, but to try the steak night meal was worth it. Bread pudding topped it off wonderfully. Both of our kids had grilled cheese sandwiches and darn near licked their plates clean-after eating their meals, half of my steak, and stealing my potatoes. The staff are all super friendly and the service was quick considering we had ordered three steak meals! Thanks Boot T’s!”

“Bf has been raving about this place for years about the Shrimp Ducky. My First time and Came alway from Texas. The food was amazing. I am disappointed in the person at the hostess stand. She was a little rude and not hospitable. We had a togo order due to our dog in the car. We don’t know where to go to pick up the order and it left us wandering the restaurant.”

“So overall I love the food here. Never had a problem until today (unfortunately today was the wrong day to set me off). There are 2 condiments/toppings I can not stand and will ruin anything I eat because you can’t just wipe it off and that Sour cream and MUSTARD!!!!! I can not figure out how “Mayo, Lettuce and Ketchup ONLY” translates to MUSTARD, Lettuce and Ketchup!!!! The words Mustard and Mayo don’t even begin to sound the same except for the M. And it wasn’t a little mustard. The bun was SOAKED with it. Call them and wanted me to come back in so they could remake it while the rest of my family’s can eat theirs. I’m glad they didn’t put it on my 6yrs olds burger!!!!”
