“Great place to hang out, great view, volleyball net and sand court. Nice floating dock for accessing from water and docking boat. Or using boat ramp.

Boat launch is a pay to use ramp. I think it’s $5. But worth it. If I’m going to south side of lake I use this ramp, if going to north side of the lake, I use the ramp in town. It’s worth the $5 to use the ramp, especially with the floating dock. It’s very nice to use. Also they have non ethanol premium 93 octane fuel on the water. Which is definitely the best thing to use in your boat. Definitely worth checking out this place.

Parking: Parking for tow vehicle with boat trailer. Costs to use boat ramp but worth it, since they have a nice floating dock to use for parking to visit from water or simply to use boat ramp.“

They serve a homemade burger called the Bengal Burger and it is SO GOOD, all of the food is ❤️ Phone orders taken, grest customer service and a comfortable dine-in are available. “There is not one negative thing that I can say about this place. The restaurant is absolutely adorable. When you walk in, you instantaneously have a smile on your face. The menu is displayed in such a chic , creative way. The menu is full and amazing. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The prices still blow me away. You can not go anywhere that I know of and get the amount of food for the price as you can here. The employees are so kind and personable. “It was like taking a step back in time. I am confident that I was at Buche's 55 summers ago enjoying a burger and fries and I was there today without Rod Serling in Twilight Zone enjoying the same. The floors, walls and ceiling are still the same. Same pictures are hanging depicting a simpler time. Mrs. Buche wasn't tending bar or flipping burgers and Mr.Willie was not in his rocker in the corner behind the bar, but I nodded hello anyway. It was a great deal then and the food is still a bargain - comparing quality and quantity versus price. The visit brought back old memories of good times and good friends.“

“The Island Landing has the BEST fried shrimp that I have ever eaten, and I have dined nation wide. Louisiana gulf shrimp are the best, so let's narrow it down to the state; trust me when I tell you that you won't experience better fried shrimp anywhere. It's not a fancy place, however the service was prompt, polite and friendly. If you ever find yourself in False River, don't miss the opportunity to experience the best fried shrimp on Earth!“
