“I have been eating at Fatty's for 20 years. I have never had a bad meal. It is a small mom and pop with a big heart. Come with a empty belly because you will have plenty to fill it. They have a daily special plate and a consistent menu. One of my favorite goto spot when im in the area.”

I have NO ideal how I’ve never heard of this place , I guess it’s because I live in Ponchatoula and don’t speak to many folks because I work most of the time .... But wow !!!! Not only the best Po-Boy I’ve “EVER” had the blessing to taste ... But what friendly folks you have working there as well !!! The bread .... Holy moly !!! Absolutely perfect for a Po-Boy!!! Semi crunchy on the outside but so soft on the inside .. and it doesn’t fall apart !! The shrimp and oysters were fried to protection !!! And those freshly pickled jalapeños gave it the perfect touch !!!! I will most definitely be returning!!! Sincerely Christopher Hale”

“I loved this place! The staff were friendly and the live music we were treated to music from a great cajun fiddler while we ate! The food was really good too! Delicious gumbo and the shrimp po boy was decent. If I had more time I would have opted for a dozen or more blue crabs that they had to offer, fresh out of the water! It’s really close to the Laurel and Oak Alley Plantations which makes it a great option for anyone going to tour those locations!! Highly recommend it!”

Beau was above and beyond (e.g. lagniappe for the cup of gumbo- KUDOS!) with prompt and attentive service, but a friendly and just too cute- demeanor that was mindful of my time (I was on a tour bus schedule), BUT did not rush my dining whatsoever- just absolutely great.

The Shrimp Po Boy was incredibly delicious and enjoyed the Abita to wash it down.

“We love China King! They keep the buffet filled right up until closing. Not a huge buffet but good options. More options when ordering. Take out is usually pretty fast. Call ahead and my large order is ready in 30 minutes. We’ve never had anything bad there. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious!”

“Back in 2009, McDonald's kept a TV inside playing the news. It was usually about Michael Jackson's death. In 2010, McDonald's was still playing the news and they were still talking about Michael Jackson's death. I hate the news, so I'm glad Mcdonalds doesn't play it anymore. But I am missing the MJ updates. Maybe Mcdonalds could keep a radio at each table, just so we know where they stand with everything regarding the Prince of Pop.”
