“BEST restaurant in town“

“I did not expect to find some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, in Alexandria, Louisiana! I travel very often for dog shows, and pizza is always my go to DoorDash pick when we’re at hotels since it keeps for a couple days and the pups enjoy the crust. We’ve had pizza from all over the US, and this place made my Top 3 Pizza Places list after the first bite. I tried the Margherita, Swamp Monster and Couchon Doux. All three taste absolutely amazing, the ingredients are fresh, crust is a perfect balance of soft and a little crispy on the outside. I’m pretty “basic” and am a cheese or Margherita person, but I am SO glad I tried the more “niche” pizzas- the flavor profile on them is incredible, and the ingredients compliment each other wonderfully. I plan to order a couple to bring home 😂. 10/10 definitely recommend. This pizza is better than pizzas I’ve had in places like Chicago, Dallas and NYC, and I’ll continue to come to the dog show hosted here solely to eat here“

“I’m on the PTO for a large school here in Pineville.We celebrated teacher appreciation today with a camping theme lunch that featured poboys. The po boys was a complete hit. AB and the rest of the staff there were a pleasure to deal with even when I called last minute to add a vegetable poboy to my order. They even sent plates and Napkins with our order they went above and beyond for us. I can’t thank them enough for helping us show the staff how appreciated they are.“

“My wife and I drove here 15 minutes from an overnight stay at a local RV park. This particular Sunday evening there was a buy 1 sushi roll and get one of equal value or less at 50% off. The sushi rolls were decent for a sushi place in Pineville Louisiana. I ordered the stuffed salmon with vegetables and a salad. The salad was a typical iceburg lettuce, tomatoes and croutons with bottled dressing options. The grilled salmon was tasty and seasoned but a little dry. All in all a good meal at a fair price.“

“Have been going here for years. Just like with any food establishments, go at busy times or right before. Like opening, during lunch, and peak dinner times. I've never been ill from this place. Never seen any type of nastiness and staff has always been attentive.“

Whether you are hungry for a salad, appetizer, dessert, entree, or all of the above, Walk-On’s has the best variety and most delicious food! Personal favorites: spinach & artichoke dip, lemon butter chicken, ribeye po-boy (extra garlic aoli), and chocolate chip cookie sundae. “This place is awesome. I stopped by today for lunch and had the pot roast hot pressed sandwich. It was amazing, veggies fresh and crisp, juicy delicious meat, and great service. Definitely stop by when you are close and need some lunch.“

What makes Caro's stand out is more than the food, it's the people. The owner and staff always greet me and make every visit feel like home. “We visit lots of breweries, in state & out of state, & there has not been another brewery that comes close to Huckleberry. Their Trail Dog & Sandbar Blonde are easy drinking & my 2 favorites. Having said that; their seasonals & the new releases are outstanding. Pair the beer with great entertainment, best bartenders around, & a Brewmaster & his wife who are always ready to welcome you to their brewery, & you will know right away that you’ve found your brewery! *& don’t forget to bring your pup, they are definitely fur baby friendly! 🌟🍺🌟🍺🌟🍺🌟🍺🌟“

“I never leave five star reviews because no place is perfect. But this place is the exception. I don't know the chefs, but they cook food that ruins every other restaurants' food. I've eaten in many states and five countries, but this place is my favorite. The staff (shout out to Chris, Megan, Lauren, Kristen, Treyvon, and the rest) are mind-blowing in how far they go. By now, I've eaten most things on the menu, except the salad, and each was absolutely delicious. I have been back and will be back again.“

“This place was good. My husband had the shrimp etouffee and it was really good. I had the boudin burger and it was okay, I wouldn't get it again. We will definitely try some different options next time we are in the area. The AC wasn't working good which was disappointing after riding on the back of motorcycle for a few hours in 90° weather.“

“Im still going to give a 5 star because the Pitt has been my #1 breakfast/3am spot for 20 years but you almost can't even eat between 7am-10am since they zone away with the window blinds. Not at the window tables for sure. Hope they fix this soon, im sure its affecting tips too.“
