“Had ground steak and mashed potatoes. The serving was plentiful. Gave it 4 stars because the food could've used more seasoning and it was a bit cold. Also, the coconut pie was a little lackluster. Good local spot though for homemade food.“

“Bridgette was our server and she did an amazing job! As someone who comes from food service management, I pay attention to a lot of the aspects of a visit and she hit over the mark on every one. She was attentive, her spirits were high, her enthusiasm was apparent, and her follow-up was consistent. She always met our needs before we got the chance to ask and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied the entire time. She really laid the foundation for a supreme experience and I will definitely come back because of her. “After a long drive this place was a great stop! They had great beignets and amazing service - even through their quick and efficient drive through. Very sweet staff working and they made my day greeting my dog and I so warmly!I loved my breakfast and my pup appreciated feeling included with the beignet fingers!“

My husband and I shared the chicken fried steak breakfast and an order of French toast, and my son had a patty melt. We were planning on ordering something different, but the lady at the next table raved about the chicken fried steak and the gravy. HANDS DOWN the BEST I have ever had of either! Honestly the patty melt was super good, the hashbrowns and the French toast were really good, and the giant homemade biscuit too, but that thin, super tender, perfectly breaded and seasoned steak and that delicious gravy stole the show and I can’t wait to go back for my own plate of just that and maybe some of the grits with shrimp and corn soup which we didn’t try this trip. I have to review our server too. I HOPE Tom is his name. I didn’t catch it, and I called back and described him to the hostess and that’s the name she gave me. This guy brought back memories of when I used to wait tables in the French Quarter 20 years ago, he is a true pro- yes, there are professional servers, and omgosh i love them. If you don’t know what I mean, I hate it for you. Having a server who takes pride in attending, anticipating, suggesting, and truly making your experience seamless and enjoyable (like taking it upon himself to have our shared meal plated separately all the way down to the hashbrowns) is its own type of art gallery experience. Thanks to the whole establishment for a great meal!“

“This cafe is pretty good. There isn’t a lot of food options here that catches my eye, but the coffee is good along with the service for the most part. I think this cafe has a really nice atmosphere though. Overall if you’re looking for a cafe that isn’t too expensive and just go somewhere to get out of the house for a little bit I can recommend this place for you.“

“This is a very cute coffee shop, great latte, homemade syrups- I tried the lavender and it was delicious! Their toasts are delicious, and they have Gluten Free options as well. It was exceptionally crowded, and full of students, and that wasn’t what I was looking for environmentally, but otherwise a great place!Dietary restrictions: Thankful they had gluten free bread options. They mentioned treats, too, but I didn’t get any.“

“When I entered the cafe I was greeted by a kind young lady. The television was on. The music was low. I loved the wall where people signed that they were there ( pretty neat). I sat at the bar to scan the menu. I ordered two large shrimp plates. I had to order a small fry on the side due to not being able to switch out the potato salad. Everything was hot and fresh. The shrimps were delicious. The fries were good. I'm not a potato salad girl, so it was okay to me. I can see myself returning to try out other items on the menu.Parking: Maybe three vehicles can park in front of the building. If full, you'll have to park along the street.“
