“Decided to check out this place to get some daiquiris to go. Saw reviews about the pineapple and amaretto one, so ordered that, a white russian, and eggnog. I must say, the White Russian was the favorite. However they were all delicious. Far better than other places we have tried. Would definitely go back. Very friendly, as well.“

“Chow Yum Fat was a great family experience, especially considering it was our eldest daughter's birthday. It did not disappoint and considering the eateries that were supposed to be 5-star and highly recommended in New Orleans, I and my daughters much prefer Baton Rouge cusine and it's symphony of flavors.Chow Yum Fat was recommended by my fiance and to say the least, I know for sure I can recommend the wings, the chicken Bao, the dumplings, and the Firebird Noodles (I believe that was the name for them, the menu is attached to this review).The Bao, which is a type of bread wrapped protein, was so delicious and new. The first bite is enough to make you take the second and the third. My only recommendation is to tell them be careful with the fish Bao because the Bao they gave us was wet and offputting. They did ask to bring us out another but we had already tried so many things on the menu, it would've been nice to have it removed, but no biggie!Why? The House Margarita is tasty, zesty, and full of class. The sip is worth it and the Mojito was beautifully crafted, sorry for a lack of a picture for that one, by the time my fiance started drinking it, it was too late. My mother in law recommends the soju, pick a flavor and enjoy!Those wings though, Wild Chow Wings, OMG! KEEP THEM COMING!!! The crispiness of the wing, the crunchiness of the peanuts, the right amount of sauce, and everything in between, I suggest be careful or you may just go overboard.The restaurant is family friendly and the portion sizes are generous and enough to definitely have a nice tasting of Chom Yum. The drink was tasty and they were super dog friendly; but I couldn't give 5 stars because the amount the drink was versus what was listed on the menu was different. I was charged more than what was listed on the menu. Please update your menus to reflect current pricing.ETA: I ordered a Winter Blanket which is on the menu for $12, but was informed it was $13 and my card was charged $13+ taxes.“

“Eliza is a hidden gem of Baton Rouge and features exquisite modern cuisine for South Louisiana palates. My experiences there having the fish sandwich and fresh the redfish with risotto make me want to come back and try the whole menu. Chef's kiss.“

“Quiet Speakeasy Vibes ??Spent a weekend in Baton Rouge and decided to check this place out. We did not try or ask for food as we had dinner plans already. But the service was awesome! Sadly our bartender was moving on to another career but I will be back for sure.On the interior, you will find PLENTY of seating with chairs and couches to create little pockets of relax zones. There was even a back parlor for additional seating out of the main space. Dimly lit but not dark really gives that speakeasy vibe ?We tried the Champagne Cocktail and a French 75 to start. I have never tried a CC, but it’s essentially bitters, brandy, sugar cube and topped with champagne. Very fresh and I love a bubble ?! To close out, we got an Old Fashioned and a Dirty Martini ?“

“This place is top notch for craft cocktails with a *huge* selection of liquors and liqueurs. Try any of the specialty drinks or go to try a new gin/ scotch/ whiskey. The bartenders are friendly and the place is kept clean, the new outdoors seating is wonderful when the weather is cooler.Didn't try any of the food so can't speak on that but if it's anything like the drinks, it should be worth it.“

“A rare perfect review. The "situation" dog was great with tasty Mac and cheese accompanying a great all beef dog with bacon. The Frito Chili Pie side was also fantastic. The service was awesome and atmosphere incredible. I will be returning!“

“There is a selfish part of me that wants to give a 1 star. I don't want anyone else knowing about this hidden gem of a sophisticated cocktail bar. The drinks were amazing and top notch. The craft applied is by far the best in town. No other places I know of brews tea for a drink, reduces pineapple, and many other micro touches to make a drink. The bar tenders know their craft, they aren't simply following pre-done recipes. They can make you a drink off your request. I would only make two requests to the business, you could turn the lights up a little bit. I leave with the feeling of the strip club scene from Varsity Blues when they hit the daylight. Also, please plan for when this place blows up. I keep hoping BR can finally support a unique, high quality, and niche place like this. Tell the William H. Macy look-a-like to keep on. He was great.“

The service was absolutely phenomenal I'm not joking either They went out of their way to make us comfortable.Wheelchair accessibility: This is why I say they went out of their way to make us comfortable. One of our members of the group has a electric wheelchair. They're pretty good size and weigh about 300 lb. He had no trouble getting in.“

“Always wanted to try this bar and finally went on a week night. The drinks were very good and well priced. Not many people in the bar on a Thursday night which was nice. Really enjoyed the overall literary theme. They offer a monthly book club over drinks if you’re interested in that.“

This particular night was unusually busy so the kitchen was backed up and it took a long time for our entrees to come out but the server was good at keeping us informed and was diligent in checking on our order. Food was well worth the wait. Unruly kids were running around in the outdoor seating area with careless parents which the manager sufficiently addressed and got it under control. The prices are outrageous but we keep going!“

“I have been at this location a couple times. I looked this last time the best. First, the place did not smell like alcohol that had been sitting too long. It actually smelled clean. That drew me in immediately. I like the flavors. I tried a new mixture called Barbie Gurl. It consisted of pina colada, strawberry, peach bellini, and crawgator. It mixed so well. I drink half of it before I realized to take a picture. I would definitely order that again since I got the extra large. Also, the young gentleman that was behind the counter was so nice, personable, and professional. He explained what the drinks were and how strong they were.“

“Best bar on our road trip, a must do bar if you wanna have a good time and incredibly delicious drinks. My boyfriend and I had a great time hanging out with Raven and Jess the bartenders. Definitely recommend the blue elevator drink and peach passion, so good! Pictures are the blue elevator and turndown service which was also fantastic.“

“This was my first time trying the R&B lounge. My husband and I came went on a Wednesday night to have a laid back date night. The lounge has a relaxing vibe with R&B music playing all night. We were greeted and advised to sit wherever we wanted. The menu is extensive and you can just about order any cocktail you can think of! On Wednesday nights, they have wings, so we ordered some wings in honey bbq. They have a list of flavors you can get them in though. For cocktails, we ordered two old fashioneds.The drinks are no joke! So good and strong we had to order another round! The wings were really tasty too! I definitely recommend going here on a chill date night or kickback with your friends. This place definitely passes the vibes test!“
