“Got there during their happy hour got margaritas for $5. The restaurant is gorgeous, they are really in tuned with their customers habits. I ordered the Big Back Burrito, and was surprised that it wasn't wrapped. I was told that most customers eat it with cutlery, but glad that staff gave me another tortilla to wrap it. Overall the burrito was sooo good hoooly, if I were to come back I would ask if they could wrap it.

“I tried this place out recently after seeing it in BR for the longest time. My husband and I ended up at Floor & Decor, so I convinced him to try it with me. Let’s just say…. He found an excuse to go back without me since that day. Food was HOT, FLAVORFUL, hefty portion for the price and great service. I am personally looking for a reason to go back as soon as possible. Probably best I’ve had in BR to date!“

“I had never been here before when a old friend of mine invited me. Wow! That's all I can really say. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, everything was exceptional! I could truly see how this would be a wonderful date night for my wife and i, and look forward to going back! The food is authentic, so don't expect run of the mill Mexican food. Far from it, but far exceeded my expectations!“

“Don't let the outside fool you. This was some of best Authentic Mexican Food my husband and I have ever eaten. The music is loud. It would help if we knew a little Spanish but the waitress understood everything we asked for. Highlight of the entire meal was the homemade tortilla. OMGgggg I have never ate tortilla that freaking good in my life. I didn't take pictures of our food but it was amazing. My husband ordered Carnes Asada and Tameles and I had the Garlic Shrimp. The only other suggestion I have is maybe add a little spice to your seafood. The Guacamole was fresh and delicious along with the Salsa had a smoked taste and the right amount of spice. We will return.“

“The BEST Izzo’s location hands down. I travel amongst New Orleans to new Baton Rouge often and make this stop frequently. The evening staff, and management is top tier. They go above and beyond and the food always tastes fantastic. I recommend every time! (Shout out to the team on 8/19!!)“

“Had a fine lunch with a great waitress! The white cheese dip is superior to other Mexican Restaurants in our area. An outstanding chips, bean dip, and salsa were served along the best taco salad (beef) with fresh chopped lettuce! Truly a delicious experience!“

“Oh My Goodness! Had such a great experience , I started going to Izzos almost everyday in Covington La but it’s NOT AS GOOD as THIS LOCATION! This LOCATION is sooo clean , amazing service, fast and efficient! I am going to have to ride to Baton Rouge whenever I want Izzos because the Covington location needs to do better! Please Stop In Whenever you’re in the area! Best Food EVER!!!!!!! Praise Yahweh - May he bless the Sister Who Is Currently Manager Eternally! 🤍“

“Great food and efficient service.However, the sink in the men’s restroom is maddening. The sensor often fails to detect that you have placed your hands under the faucet and require water to be released from the spigot. Instead, you have to play a game of waving and flailing your hands under the faucet and all around the sink to be granted water. Once you become successfully awarded with water, you’re sprayed a fast, furious rush of only 2 seconds’ worth of water. The sink in the men’s restroom in the adjoining Lit Pizza has the same problematic faucet.“

“Great experience today food was great the chicken and chicken wings were perfect and the mood was great all smiles from the employees there unlike yesterday in which was horrible. I hate to post negativity but the Manager yesterday was horrible speaking to his employees like there animals it's sad to see tears in a workers eyes and there working so hard but today all smiles.“
