Pizza Restaurants near Port Allen

“The food was very good. We did have to wait a while for the waitress to check on us and to get refills. Also the night we went there was only 3 people in the restraint besides the staff. They stood around the bar talking and conversating. One girls was actually doing things and working the others were just standing and talking.“

“We stopped for gas, snacks and the bathroom. The bathroom was clean. The gas does have 10% ethanol which was very disappointing. The station across the road has ethanol free gas. Saw this after I had fueled up. Anyway, the store clerks were very friendly. The snacks were good. The location is convenient. Only complaint is the ethanol gas.“

“Our family decided to try the pizza that went viral on social media. My fiance loves to try new concepts, especially if it sounds and looks appetizing.

For this particular pizza, the viral pizza is "pizza with extra garlic Parmesan sauce instead of tomato sauce, extra cheese, Cheddar cheese blend, Philly cheesesteak, and bacon". However, we did remove the bacon (we do not eat pork).

On sight, the pizza looks delicious and smells great. After tasting a slice of it, I was not amazed, but it wasn't bad. The after taste from the garlic parmesan sauce is too tangy and a bit off for me.

So I'm not knocking the pizza but I am knocking the sauce. I don't mind trying other sauce toppings but for this one, I say stick with the tomato sauce, or if they have another substitute it that you like to use.

So I give it a 3, not because it didn't look good or smell good, it was/is simply because of the after-taste of the sauce which takes away from the experience.“

“We ordered pick up. When we arrived our order was wrong. The young man fixed it quick and 10 minutes later we had the right order and some free breadsticks. Mistakes happen, its how we correct the mistake that matters and this young man had great customer service.“

We were greeted with a warm welcome as one of the staff members told us about the history of their restaurant. I had the Swamp Daddy, which was loaded with toppings (shrimp, crayfish, crab, tasso, and more). My son had the Carribean Chicken, which had a very fresh lighter taste (but very flavorful) for a pizza. Both were excellent as well as the garlic breadsticks.“
