Matt and Jamar very thoroughly welcomed us in and served with a smile while having some pleasant conversation about our plans for the day and whatnot. (not the fake kind of obligatory customer service small talk)

While the food was excellent, the customer service from those two stood out the most.

If I owned or managed this place I’d made sure to do what I can to hold onto those guys. They represent your business very well.

“Checked out the new Bistro Italia location and we loved it! We ordered the tomato basil soup, Big Lou pizza, Shrimp Primavera, and Diablo shrimp. Everything came out hot, was delicious and you could tell the ingredients were fresh! The team was friendly, the atmosphere was upscale but still very comfortable, and the prices are very reasonable (sharing the menu pics for anyone curious). The updated restaurant is beautifully done. Also love that it’s a family owned and run restaurant.“

“Just left the Ferndale location. The server was quite uninviting and inattentive but Rick(who i believe was the chef) was amazing. Brought us plates and silverware, cleaned up my daughter’s spilt water, bussed our table and even packed our leftovers in a box. Tried to leave him a tip and he refused to accept. He’s wonderful and y’all are lucky to have him! Food was good as always“

“It was a perfect day with my grandsons! There was coupon on the website and the boys had an hour to play UNLIMITED games for around $22.00 each. When they won "tickets" the tickets posted to a plastic playing card. The card was so convenient. Then at the end of the hour we "cashed" out the "tickets" for toys and one saved his "tickets" for another time. Very affordable, clean, friendly staff and the pizza and salad bar wasn't too bad.“

“During our last visit, they made a pepperoni pizza instead of stuffed pepperoni bread as listed on the receipt. My husband went in and pointed it out. In less than 9 minutes, we had the stuffed bread and we also kept the pizza!!

“Came in for lunch today, partially because I belong to their loyalty program and I had a slice of birthday cake coming to me. I very much wanted to try the summer cake of lemon and blueberry but it was out when I placed my order at the counter. However, the cashier who run me up (Lauren) remember that I really wanted to try that cake and while I was eating my pizza and salad in the restaurant, Lauren came up to me and asked if I had gotten my birthday cake yet. She informed me that they were just slicing the last hole lemon and blueberry cake they had in stock and what I like a piece of that for my birthday gift. I enthusiastically said yes, and I thought it was really sweet of her to remember me a good 15-20 minutes after our conversation when I place my order at the counter. I decided to order for delivery of two pizzas this evening and it was the quickest I’ve ever had a pizza delivered, ever. It was also freshly warm on delivery. “It was at least eighty degrees in the store, and that was without considering that the employees were next to hot ovens. Despite this, an employee named William was thuggin it out in a long sleeved shirt, and when asked how he survived in these poor working conditions, he shrugged it off like it was nothing, like a true American. William also tolerated my annoying friends and I like a true champ, a feat never before seen by human beings, as my friends should never be allowed to exist the public sphere without parental supervision, and William acted as that chaperone with no pay raise, simply dedication. I called this location FIRST try...Eric Collins was so HELPFUL and EFFICIENT. I hope someone gives this man a raise. He made the transaction effortless, smooth, and top notch customer service. “I’ve been to this location several times, and the crew is always super nice! I walked in expecting to see the people I normally do, but tonight there was someone new that I’d never seen before.

He was running the entire store by himself, and I know that had to be stressful. Despite that, he remained kind and welcoming to every single person who walked through the door. While preparing orders, he still made the effort to greet customers as they came in and even made a little small talk.

I just had to leave a review because his kindness truly left a lasting impression on my heart. I love coming across exceptional customer service, but even more than that, I appreciate the wonderful people who provide it.
