“Absolutely delicious! We started with the crab salad which was very refreshing! Followed by one of each oyster they had to offer that day. Then we had an additional dozen of our favorites! We had the seared scallops and it was good enough to lick the plate! Finished with a slice of key lime pie. The daiquiri was tasty as well! The staff was attentive to our needs so much so that they walked to get sprite for my husband’s favorite drink! It was a lovely way to spend our 10 year anniversary tucked away in the bar by the oyster shucker. 10/10“

“I have a problem with this place. Their sound system is too good. I used to think I could sing okay. Not well. But okay. Then I did karaoke night at Shenanigans and found out what I really sound like. It really hurts, man. I feel like I need to apologize or anyone who ever had to hear me sing. I was really bad. I don’t even sing alone in my car anymore, just in case I’m going too slow and the car next to me can hear it.

Mr. Wolf definitely turned this experience around with his professionalism, kindness and humility. I’m changing the rating from 1 to 5, due to our phone and in person conversation. I will continue to patronize this business because I see that he actually cares about his customers!3/28: What a horrible experience I had today by the “manager”. I just KNOW NOD managers don’t act this way. I patronize this business weekly LITERALLY. I could show my bank statements! This was unprofessionalism at its finest! I can’t let this one blow over! “We had so much fun we needed a to-go container for all the leftover fun. We always wanted to stop in and are happy we finally did. We went on Tuesday night and they had fresh boiled crab right out of the water. One thing led to another which led to Karaoke thanks to the aggressive hospitality of Jack and bartenders. The regular crowd were friendly and welcoming. They lost their sign to Ida but there's no shortage of cold beers, cold air-conditioning and friendly atmosphere. Make sure you donate to the sign fund!“

“I do indeed like this little hotel bar.

I’ve been wanting to visit and tonight was the night it finally happened.

Upon walking in, I noticed this spot is an actual lounge. There are board games, tv’s , a pool table— I love that vibe. Stopping in on a Friday I knew jt would be slow as Fridays in the city can be slow at hotel bars, everyone who is in town is most likely on Bourbon or other parts the city and not the bar at their hotel. I can’t remember the bar tenders name but he was kind and friendly. Although the drink I wanted to order couldn’t be made due to out of stock ingredients, I enjoyed two glasses of champagne.

Service, great!
Food, I can’t judge because the kitchen was closed.
Location, perfect.. CBD, two blocks away from Bourbon.
