“Came here with my bf for our anniversary - they did not disappoint! I did not expect them to do anything, but they went above and beyond on our special day.

Besides the service, food was very fresh and delicious. The portion sizes were perfect and each course had you wanting more!

It is a bit pricey, (~$30/person), but worth it if you're looking for a nice restaurant to dine in. I recommend making reservations as it was packed when we had dinner.

I'll definitely go back when I'm in town again. Great restaurant.“

TO ANYONE DRIVING THROUGH THIS IS THE PLACE YOU DON'T KNOW YOU'RE LOOKING FOR.

Gumbo was fresh (chicken & sausage) and full of flavor. The shrimp platter was a huge serving. Loads of potato and shrimp. More than generous.
The crab was buttery and oh soooo good.

Last but not least...

“I'm from Alabama. I saw this restaurant on an episode of Restaurant Impossible and the family story really touched my heart. I just had to visit Eddie's Restaurant when my husband and I passed through Shreveport and they did not disappoint! I told them why I was there and they were so appreciative. We were treated like royalty! And the food was simply delicious! We brought family and friends with us and they all had rave reviews of the food and service. I could just feel the love of God in this family as they were so warm and friendly. I have been spreading the word and sending links to my family and friends!“

I wasn't disappointed this was some amazing food I didn't think Shreveport had good food like this. I was wrong. If I'm ever near here again I will return. “I had chicken parmigiana from Carrabba's and fell asleep in the recliner. Don't ever do that. I dreamt I was back in high school.and was flunking my classes and wouldn't graduate, so I skipped my finals and went to some festival in the courtyard where I got my face painted with clown makeup so I could blend in and be incognito. As there was some shame associated with the flunking out. I met a cute charming woman who was also a midget. She was about 4'10" (same height as my 2nd ex/baby-mama) dressed as a jester for the weird end of school carnivale and we had a great time and when I said goodbye she jumped my bones, climbed me like a ladder and kissed me, and well, we did "it",and the lovemaking was awesome, like the nympho scene from porky's and In the afterglow I realized people could see us because we hadn't picked the most secluded area backstage and one of the voyeurs was a girl I crushed on in high school, and I was like, "oh, hey so and so, how are you?" Trying so hard to act like she didn't just watch me have midget clown whoopee with one of my ex's. And she was about to say something, but then I awoke with a start in my recliner. That was some rich food! Thanks Carrabba's! Great food, strangely cryptic yet satisfying dreams! I gotta eat there more often. The devil is in that chicken ya'll.“

“Nice little hole in the wall spot. Came across it with 2 of my kids. Got the 2 pc fish, wings, and fried rice. Food was hot, fresh and tasty.

“Live out of town, been wanting to try there food. Ordered seafood platter Didn't want fries so lady taking order said would give e c tra slaw and tomatoe relish. Got home there was no fries and no slaw and no pickled tomatoes. Seafood had good taste. Ordered muffaleta. Tasted ok but had no olive relish on it. Little things but for price gotta speak of it. .“

“My first experience yesterday at The Pearl was outstanding. We enjoyed the oyster sampler and the pecan-crusted catfish. Julianna who served our group was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent wine choices. It was a wonderful meal in a sophisticated atmosphere.“

“I stopped in town on business. Once done, i looked up a lunch spot.

The rating was very good, close to 5 stars. It's attached to a casino, so i drove past it. The food was better than expected.
I love how the strips of fish made each bite flavorful. Normally, when fish is prepared, the ends are burnt.

Sam's was above all. My shrimp were large enough and had a flaky batter. I would drive back again for this food.

“Every December we have a social event at work. The lady over it always picks Windrush. I always order the fried Shrimp. They are delicious. But not today. I ordered the Mardi Gras Salad. Now be careful of the jalapeno on it. They are delicious and fresh. The entire salad was so fresh and the cranberry vinaigrette was out of this world. Worth the trip“
