“Alan the GM gave us a great rate for 6 rooms. Rooms were ready when we got there, comfortable and clean. We were exhausted & we ate at the onsite restaurant & utilized the bar. Not to hold it against GM or employees, but the restaurant was understaffed. They did allow & encourage us because of the wait to do GrubHub which turned out great! Breakfast very good waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt parfait, bacon, eggs, gravy, breads, biscuits, sausage, muffins, grits, cereals, etc. Dinner food from the restaurant was good. Bartender- Excellent. Staff was very very friendly. Kudos to you all for an awesome overnight rest.“

“We got a fried chicken baked potato ? let me just say it was HUGE it covered the whole entire big ToGo box!! We shared it! ❤️ It was sooo delicious it was covered in butter, cheese, fried chicken chunks, and white gravy!! The service was good and they were all nice! Food was fast!!“

“My wife and a stopped in at The Max for dinner. I ordered the All District Burger, and she had the shrimp poboy. The waitress, Aubrianna was very nice and helpful. Our food came quickly, and it was as we ordered. I was ready to take a bite of what I was sure was to be one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. It is, after all, a 3 meat blend. It was every bit of underwhelming. It was juicy, but that was about it. Nothing remarkable. My wife did enjoy her poboy, and she really liked the way the bread was toasted. As for the atmosphere, it was nice and clean, but to me, there wasn't much atmosphere to speak of. I think we'll go back at least once more to see if we just missed something.

“We had a great experience dining here on 6/3/23. The dozen oysters on the half shell were very tasty. My husband had the catfish and commented on how it was the best he has had in a very long time. I had the burger and fries and it was absolutely delicious! Thanks for accommodating all my food allergies. It’s difficult but you all really tried and I appreciate it very much. Finally, we had great service from Brook and enjoyed eating on the patio. Keep up the great work. Food service is a grueling job but you all did it so effortlessly!“

“Ember was fantastic. The environment was definitely fine dining, but also comfortable and welcoming. The staff were beyond fantastic. Again, formal and professional, but still warm and friendly. On to the food, we couldn’t have asked for better. The temperature, flavors, presentation, everything was perfect. We got a small dessert to top it off, with the homemade ice cream being spot on. We can’t thank them enough for a perfect experience!“

“I have never had a bad experience at Luna’s. I’ve only been in Lake Charles since March. Hands down one of my favorite places. Friendly staff! The cosmic sauce has me in a chokehold, it goes with just about anything!“

“It is always so unbearably cold in there. We bring sweaters etc, but last night I shivered through my meal being unable to enjoy it. And the waiter was rushing us through the meal. Arrived at 515p out by 540p. The food is always delicious but the atmosphere killed it. Very fast loud music, difficult to hold a conversation at the table.“

“My server tonight was by far the best server I have had in a long time. Her name was Katie and she had such a wonderful personality and was very easy to talk to and extremely attentive. My food came out cold and she immediately made sure it was fixed with fresh hot food within minutes and not once did a smile leave her face. In such a high stress environment it can be hard to maintain positivity but she is the embodiment of what a good waitress should be! She deserves recognition for the hard work and good job that she does. Katie was helpful in every way and made sure that we had everything we needed to have a good dinner this evening. I am truly appreciative of her and will definitely be back to this location because of her! Thank you Katie!“

“Brought my dad, daughter, and grandmother here to eat. Grandmother never had an American waygu steak before, tried the featured bonein waygu strip and loved it. Couldn't stoped talking about the amazing flavor from the marbling of the steak. Highly recommend!“

“Got to meet the General Manager today on the same day that i first came to this place. Food is fantastic and the selection of sauces are great. Ask for the sweet bbq and the spicy bbq combined. It was fantastic!!“
