“We were traveling through and stopped in. OMG! The food was SO DELICIOUS! This is my very first time having a boudin, they had several different varieties. We had the jalapeno pepper cream cheese stuffed fried boudin. 5 stars. The BBQ sauce on the pork sausage po boy was outstanding and all the staff was so patient with me ordering and asking questions.“

Take out only, so we took it for a picnic in our car. The lot's a bit rough with a closed gas station and hotel as neighbors, but it felt kinda like the neighborhood I grew up in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯We tried one of everything. Get me 2 boudin rolls w pepperjack every day for the rest of my life (easy on the seasoned salt topping, personally.) The burger was great but a bit messy. The chicken wings were great but you could just get the boudin. “The food was amazing! I highly recommend the meatball stew and all of their meals of the day. The service was impeccable, just what you'd expect in South Louisiana, service with love and full attention. The atmosphere, well let's just say I felt like I was taken back to family gatherings at my grandparents home, sitting around tables, enjoying conversation and fellowship with all the folks in there!“
“Food is very good! We always enjoy the food there. Plate lunches are a bit expensive, we ordered a pork chop plate and it came with onion rings and we wanted to replace the onion ring for mash potatoes and what we got was one pork chop in a empty to go plate with a very small cup with mash potatoes on the side for the same prize as if we would of had the onion rings in the plate and they charged extra for the small cup of mash potatoes. And we asked for gravy and there was no gravy. But we still love their food and their very friendly atmosphere! We still eat there we just don't order the pork chops .“

“Ate here for the first time in 25 years. My family has been disappointed in a lot of the local eateries in and around the Acadiana area. I assured them that Prejeans was good when I was a kid. Once we went here to eat, everyone raved about their dishes. My main criticism is the gumbo has an extremely potent smoke taste. If I had to guess, it's likely liquid smoke added to a gumbo that already had smoked meat. Not the best but certainly far from the worst.“

“We met a friend for lunch at Myran's. It's an unpretentious building with a lovely setting on the water. It was a little too chilly out to sit outside when we were there, but if the weather had been a little warmer, dining outdoors would have been nice! The fried shrimp and fish were delicious, and you got a lot of food for not a lot of money. Our server was a hoot, and she was able to offer good suggestions for those of us who weren't sure what we wanted. A little bit of a drive for us, but Myran's was well worth the time it took to get there. Highly recommended!“
“My mom and I are on a plate lunch tour across Acadiana and Veronica's is currently our #1 out of 46 we've been to. Love the turkey wings, pot roast, dirty rice, etc. The Sunday bbq is awesome too, especially the pork steak and smoked sausage. Love“
“OMG!! This is my new must-go to lunch place. Today, 2 of my siblings and I had lunch here. (It is only open for lunch … and only a few times a week). I had the roast beef sandwich…amazing!! My sister had the chicken salad and she loved it! My brother had the special of the day -stuffed meatloaf, honey carrots and cheesy broccoli….TO DIE FOR!! DDee is a one-woman show and this place was adorable.“
