“It was such a pleasure to go to Cheng’s. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The waitress kept our glasses filled and continued to check on us to make sure everything was good. She was very sweet. The owner came and talked to us after our meal and we just had to let him know how much we miss him and the food in Hammond. They are the nicest people. Will be going back now I know where they are. We miss China Garden!!! But it’s on now for Cheng’s!!!“

“I 110% recommend BLDG5! Brayden was our server on a busy Friday night & was absolutely excellent! He was great with giving us different suggestions off the menu and made sure we were satisfied with everything! The atmosphere was great & meal was even better. Can’t wait to come back!“

“This is the best Mexican in Baton Rouge. They have the best salsa! It is a roasted salsa so less acidic, which is what I love about it. Also they have an awesome, creamy green salsa. The table side guac is great too. There's no question they have the best fajitas in Baton Rouge. The chicken is sliced thin and the flavor is just awesome. I don't usually go for steak fajitas but I do here because it's always tender rather than chewy like lots of other places. Homemade tortillas of course, and you see them being made as you walk in. Love this place and when I want good Mexican, it is always my first choice!“

“Was in town traveling on work and had a group dinner here. It was a beautiful night so we were able to sit upstairs on the patio. The location has a lot of seating. The music was a little bit loud, but that tends to go with the atmosphere. We had, several appetizers and all were tasty. Our group especially liked the grilled alligator.I ordered the catfish with crawfish etouffee. It was a lot but it was soooo tasty. Our server was prompt and attentive to our group.“

“Brickyard's Thursday karaoke nights are a blast! The cozy ambiance, great drink selection, and enthusiastic crowd make it an unforgettable experience. Talented and amateur singers get their chance to shine on stage, creating a fun and supportive atmosphere. Whether you're belting out tunes or cheering from the sidelines, Brickyard's karaoke is a must-try“
“Quiet Speakeasy Vibes ??Spent a weekend in Baton Rouge and decided to check this place out. We did not try or ask for food as we had dinner plans already. But the service was awesome! Sadly our bartender was moving on to another career but I will be back for sure.On the interior, you will find PLENTY of seating with chairs and couches to create little pockets of relax zones. There was even a back parlor for additional seating out of the main space. Dimly lit but not dark really gives that speakeasy vibe ?We tried the Champagne Cocktail and a French 75 to start. I have never tried a CC, but it’s essentially bitters, brandy, sugar cube and topped with champagne. Very fresh and I love a bubble ?! To close out, we got an Old Fashioned and a Dirty Martini ?“

“Thanks to Ashton at Mid Tap, everyone in our group was happy - the beer lovers found their match, and the cocktail fans were thrilled with the mixed drinks. The vibe was just right with good music and tasty food. Definitely a spot to revisit.“

“Passed through while traveling and stopped here by chance because it said dog friendly. I happened to have my pup with me. The patio may be small, but the food is amazing, and the vibes were great. I went for lunchtime, so it was dead, but my service was great. I will definitely stop by again next time I'm in the area.“

“Didn't actually go into the bar but next door to the pit stop is a little grocery store that make their own sandwiches and I highly recommend if you're going to stop don't forget to pick up a sandwich. The tuna is amazing and the club sandwich is to die for. The price is definitely right.“
“I went here on a Saturday night around 8:30pm. The atmosphere was inviting. As a woman, I was the only one as a paying customer besides one of the bartenders for a few minutes. So if you are a woman I do suggest if you don’t like to go to cigar lounges alone to bring a friend if you chose to sit at the bar. I sat at the bar and the male bartender had long brown hair had an attitude that was very offsetting. I don’t know if he was frustrated with his co-worker (who was a woman) or not but he was definitely p*ssed off with her clearly. I ordered my drink. He lightened up a bit but was still snarky. This night the bar was full and he was working it alone. There was cigar smoke in the air but not enough to flare your allergies or for it to stick to your clothing. I had shared a few conversations with folks and left about an hour later. I would go back, but I would probably visit Church hill first.“
“Came her on 8/6/23 which is a Sunday and they weren't packed, but that is the way I like it. Room to sit down, not bumping into others. I like the pineapple daiquiri. But this diesel shots will sneak up on you. Oh their liquid viagra daiquiri is good but it will catch up with you. All they need is a chicken wing truck in the lot ir a taco truck next door and it'll be perfect .“

“Extremely rude workers. They delete comments if they don't like the review. We had a party of 10 and waited like they asked then they tried to seat us at a table for 6 people. Five people would be piled on top of each other on a booth. asked to add a table ( there were 3 empty tables right by us) they said no but we could wait an additional hour for a table. asked for manager and a girl comes out saying she is manager. No apologies no nothing. We did call ahead and were told no same day reservations but they had a big enough table to accommodate us. I have been reading reviews and there are a ton similar to our experience. It's starting to seem they do not want to accommodate large parties and try to make the experience so unbearable that they eventually leave. We ALWAYS tip over 25 percent even when service sucks. Their loss!!“

“My server was Mae, she was knowledgeable, upbeat, and was able to help me with recommendations and options. Service was very fast, Mae got me a drink quickly and made sure I had everything I needed when she brought food to my table. Food was much better than I expected, this being my first time here, and it being a theme restaurant. I got the street tacos with chips & salsa; they were very good. A salsa can make or break an experience, and the recipe at Twin Peaks was very well designed.“

“Love, Love LOVE this place. I have been twice. Food was amazing both times. I almost didn't come back a second time because the service was AWFUL. My server was very rude and kept questioning that I wanted the mole and came to explain it to me multiple times even though I told her I know what it is and I really enjoy the flavors. She was incredibly slow and my husband and I would have liked to order a second drink and dessert but chose to leave when we had the opportunity. Now the 2nd time I went, I sat at the bar. The bartenders were FANTASTIC. Very attentive, answered any questions and gave 5 ⭐ service. Food was equally delicious, portions are large so both times I had enough for lunch the next day which is always a fun added bonus.“
“Always wanted to try this bar and finally went on a week night. The drinks were very good and well priced. Not many people in the bar on a Thursday night which was nice. Really enjoyed the overall literary theme. They offer a monthly book club over drinks if you’re interested in that.“

“I gave it a four because of how good it used to be! No more beef ribs or collard greens.... also, the ribs are overdone now. Don't know what changed, but es no bueno!!! Service was always mediocre at best, but the food made up for it. Not anymore...“
“So the first time me and my husband went there we had got these huge daiquiris at wind up sitting in our freezer for weeks so we went back again we got smaller ones and they were delicious I got the Henny Margarita he got the the suicide one he didn't really like all the flavors but the Henny Margarita is everything so the next time I passed by there I will get the larger one“
“Asher has amazing customer service, along with a couple employees I have met but unfortunately never got their names. Not that one guy however, who lied “oh we don’t do student discounts anymore” he was rude the one time I checked out with him a couple months ago.“
“I was in baton Rouge for a week and stopped at this place everyday day of the week. I love there Daiquiris. U will truly be lit and feel it after a while. I will always give this place my money when it comes to there DaiquirisAdd me on IG here_now_and_forever_infinidi for more “
“Damn, what a spot. For game day there is no better place than right here at Fred's. What a great time. The bartender Mathew took awesome care of us and he ran the bar like a boss. How can it get any better when the big man himself is on the grill cooking all the steaks and his wife is keeping it straight on when you get your food. Great times and look forward to going back every time on game day.“

“I have been at this location a couple times. I looked this last time the best. First, the place did not smell like alcohol that had been sitting too long. It actually smelled clean. That drew me in immediately. I like the flavors. I tried a new mixture called Barbie Gurl. It consisted of pina colada, strawberry, peach bellini, and crawgator. It mixed so well. I drink half of it before I realized to take a picture. I would definitely order that again since I got the extra large. Also, the young gentleman that was behind the counter was so nice, personable, and professional. He explained what the drinks were and how strong they were.“

“What a cool place...This was a great choice for dinner. It has really cool decor and a great environment. It is casual but upscale where you go there to watch sports, have a business meeting, or even a date. The service was off the hook awesome - Emily is a Rockstar waitress. The food was delicious. We had the gator bits as an appetizer. I had the catfish lebeaux, which was great. My friend had the delta queen and really enjoyed it. This is a great place to have a great meal.“
“LOVE this place!!!! Very social, entertaining and clean. The staff is wonderful, too. Lara was so sweet! I’m not from the area and she was so kind and welcoming to me. They have great deals, the drinks are so cute and it was just a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be visiting again!“

“I recommend Phil's Oyster Bar & Seaford Restaurant for their atmosphere, service, and food. We made reservations and didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waitress was wonderful and paid attention to details, as in special requests due to allergies. The charbroiled oysters were the best. Phil's is definitely the place to go for seafood.“

“I had not been inside since they eliminated smoking, and wow, what a game changer! Lots of TVs to catch the games and they'll put whatever you want to watch on. Cold beer on tap, several daiquiris, frozen margs, and my fave - the frozen crown and coke. Service with a smile. All great prices. I remember going to dollar burger night in the past, and it was always tasty. It's our beloved crawfish season again, and they waited until the price came down a little and the crawfish got a little bigger to finally have them on sale. Prices were reasonable this weekend for the pound, platter, or bucket. They are seasoned so well, not overly spicy (confirmed by our spice sensitive friend), but still had a nice kick (maybe if you're not from here, it is too much), but it was super tasty. The platter was just enough to fill me up! Who's ready to hit it up again next weekend?“
“This is one of the Coolest Bars in Baton Rouge. Oh, I mean Lounge. Linda White, the proprietor, and 2020 Spanishtown Queen, shows everybody a great time. There is always a variety of locals there. Great prices on the mixed drinks. Love that place.“

“My client (local) said this was his favorite restaurant in all of Louisiana, and it delivered. Off the beaten path but not too far, with an authentic ambiance you can "feel" as much as see. Service was excellent (shoutout to Sam B.), knowledgeable, attentive, and welcoming. I had a spicy bread bowl appetizer, Roberto's crab entree, and the black tuxedo pie a la mode dessert. Left with a full stomach and a happy experience. More of a nice memory than just a meal. Go for it.“
