“We chose The Max to celebrate our son’s college graduation dinner, and I cannot imagine a more perfect place for such a special milestone. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and celebrated. The manager (Jalen) and staff (Olivia & Jaden) went above & beyond to help us set up decorations prior to the dinner, helped answered all of our questions, checked on us throughout the dinner to make sure everyone was taken care of. “We got to our hotel around 7:30PM on a Tuesday. My wife wanted seafood so we headed over to Seafood Palace as they were close and didn't close up until 9PM. Very small-town, no frills vibe. I make a point to try chicken andouille gumbo every new place that offers it. Seafood Palace gumbo was one of the best I've ever tasted. Fried shrimp and fish were fresh, hot and crispy. Seafood Palace is Louisiana style fried seafood done well.“
