“Went on Saturday 11/22 an extremely busy shopping day but was looking forward to stopping for a coffee and cinnamon rolls. Shout out to the cashier with the hair (he knows) who was extremely helpful and personable. Also when paying it’s extremely clear that the part that says TIP would
be paying for a tip nvm the fact it ask for a dollar amount. I’m not sure how someone could get confused with that. Thanks for the help and good service!“

“Cookies were good but always sold out of something, also waited a hour and a half for a 6 pack one time which is ridiculous, they use to do curb side pickup which was great but they stopped doing that.

“This review has been long overdue. I swear I’m an unpaid spokesperson for The Baker. I will tell someone about it anytime they will listen. The linguica cheese rolls are THE BEST. The dough they use paired with ground linguica and the perfect ratio of cheese HITS every time. Then they make the best cookies. I can’t say which is my favorite but I get one every time, rotating which flavors I get. Now for coffee — I am iced coffee year round. They make the best iced lattes. 🫶🏻🙏🏻 I personally get mocha and caramel in mine but they also have specials for flavors too. If you don’t like coffee, I highly recommend the teas! The honey peach mango is so good but the new salted cantaloupe tea is SO GOOD. TLDR: The Baker is absolutely fantastic and has something for everyone.“

“I first tried Sweet Sense products for Thanksgiving. What a treat! The cake was delicious & the pumpkin bread was fabulous. Nice & moist. I've been gluten free for 15 years (Celiac) and these are definitely the best desserts I've found. Highly recommend!!!“

“Best Portuguese Rolls in the area! Crispy! The make them hot in first thing when they open and usually around noon they make a 2nd batch... You get them in your car and its hard not to eat 2 or more on your way home when they are hot like that!!! I buy a 2 dozen at a time and freeze them because they freeze perfectly, and defrost on your counter almost as good as when you bought them!“

“I cannot say enough good things about Lauren and Wingate's Cake Design! I will say, I absolutely love cake so I can be somewhat picky, but Lauren's cakes are absolutely delicious, and so beautiful to look at!

We hired Lauren to do our wedding cake, macaroons, and even some late-night red velvet cheesecakes, and everyone at our wedding raved about how delicious everything was! She helped with everything from cake flavors, to labels on the macaroon boxes, to recipe testing the cheesecake so it tasted like my husband and I's favorite from back home!

Lauren is an absolute joy to work with and I highly recommend her for any and every event!“

The tamales were an easy yes, they were my first ever real tamale and I’m better for it now. We picked up a couple of grocery items we can’t find at our local store. “I’m from Atlanta and was visiting family in Fairhaven when I was introduced to The Nook. We went almost every day we were in town and even brought some of their amazing Choco Kong muffins back home with us. Also tried their Skooma, Linguicia Rolls, and their cinnamon rolls (the BEST!) The staff was top notch too! If you haven’t tried The Nook, you are missing out on some great coffee, food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back whenever we are in town!“

The donuts are similar to what they use to be, but we miss the cruellers- but the Boston Cream is delish! The coffee- well I miss how they use to brew French Vanilla themselves, and they need to critique the cream ratios BUT otherwise was fine. Opening’s are hard, have a little faith and stop by and try it out to support them!“
