It’s the kind of meal where you talk about the taste, keep sharing bites and keep eating long past when you are satiated because it just tastes and feels so good. So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! “There are hundreds of pizza joints on the Cape. Most are terrible. Quietly Umami has risen. When you walk into a pizza joint and the owner/operator is pulling a pie with flour covering her Levi's and chef clogs...well, ur on to something. Carol, I think her name is, has the audacity to call out Pepe's in New Haven. She kills it. The clam pie is ridiculous. I'm so honored to live close by. Don't miss this one. She's special.“

“We love this little ice cream store, been going there since the early 70's. It's just a good olde fashionef Capecod experience totally and amazing remodelled parking area and recreation. Not many true Capecod original traditions left.“

“My wife stumbled upon their Provincetown location which is tucked behind another place on the Main Street. So happy she found it. We both had sandwiches with sides of French fries and Mac and cheese. Absolutely amazing. The lavender pink lemonade was delicious as well. Staff was super friendly. Highly recommend.“

“I can’t comment on the rooms here as we joined them for their restaurant only, but I can say that the food, service and ambiance are all excellent. Ingredients are obviously of primary importance to the chef, and the dishes are very well prepared and presented. It is expensive and the clientele tends to be older, though not exclusively so. There is ample seating inside and out.

“How I wish there was a KKatie's burger in NJ! We visited while on vacation in the area. This was in the best hamburger of my life! The other 3 people said their's were awesome, but I can only speak for myself. When ordering, they ask if you want it pink inside. Otherwise, they're cooked well done. Mine was perfectly pink inside. The bacon was crispy enough to bite, but not crumbly / overdone. The burger was huge, probably close to a half pound, so go there hungry! I opted for the cole slaw side. It was creamy and delicious. Definitely made in-house. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! Please, please open one near me!“

“We’ve been coming here for almost 30 years and have loved every moment. We don’t expect perfection, but we always get perfection as we feel it is. Maybe the staffing was difficult at times during Covid, but they always tried their hardest and we were very happy. And the food is always delicious. We tried the limited menu window, located to the left of the main entrance—often missed by those heading directly inside. The Cookies and Cream and Death by Chocolate we had were exceptional. “Have dined at several Paneras. The best location is hands down Hyannis Massachusetts. They consistently make a great sandwich. Other locations make a skimmy sandwich, or give small amount of soup. Most locations definitely need staff to clean off tables more frequently. This location has special needs staff who clean tables and say hi. A very nice touch.“
