It’s the kind of meal where you talk about the taste, keep sharing bites and keep eating long past when you are satiated because it just tastes and feels so good. So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! “I can’t comment on the rooms here as we joined them for their restaurant only, but I can say that the food, service and ambiance are all excellent. Ingredients are obviously of primary importance to the chef, and the dishes are very well prepared and presented. It is expensive and the clientele tends to be older, though not exclusively so. There is ample seating inside and out.
