“The good: Salads! Pretty big too. Portions are pretty good here for all dishes. Pulled pork mac attack is pretty good. Generous amount of chicken tenders, inside and outside seating, drink station, beer, and sports on TV.The not so good: Service is pretty slow. Even when its pretty empty. Tables can be dirty but in all fairness to the staff, I constantly see people leave whole tables full garbage and food for someone else to clean up. I do see staff cleaning tables. The problem here ( and in the park in general) is not enough staff.“

“Today we had a craving for lip smackin’, finger lickin’ delectable BBQ and I have to say we found it at Fire on the Mountain Smokehouse in Suffield, CT!!! Our dine-in experience began with friendly, attentive service and light-hearted banter followed by generous portions of succulent meat, sauces, and sides. We enjoyed the Smoked Brisket, Crispy Ribs (one order with regular sauce and the other with their sweet strawberry sauce - both divine!), and Smoked Wings (which, btw, were huge, scrumptious and glazed with a sweet chili sauce packing just the right amount of tangy heat!). The brisket was pure melt-in-your mouth goodness and the crispy ribs? Well let’s just say Fire on the Mountain knows how to get the perfect balance of caramelized sauce, crispy edges, and fallin’ off the bone tender meat with every bite! For sides, we had Blackberry Apple Slaw, Rice & Beans, Creamy Mashed Potatoes, and Sweet Potato Mash. All were superb but the Sweet Potato Mash was like the best pie (without crust) your mother ever made - a wonderful balance of warm spices, molasses, maple and love! The menu has so much more than just the traditional platter fare. Do you crave BBQ in the morning? If so they have breakfast options you’ll want to try (we know we do!). For lunch/dinner there are a variety of small bites, tacos, salads, sandwiches, etc. and many a la carte sides to choose from. We think there’s something here for every omnivore. Needless to say we went home with smiles on our faces, leftovers, and the certain knowledge that we will be back!“

“This was my first visit and I ordered the hot pot. The waitress who waited on me spent many, many minutes explaining how my meal should be cooked and what I should put in first. The meal was out of this world and the food was devilish. I highly recommend it. As General MacArthur stated "I shall return".“

“We live in Enfield and went here for the first time last night. We dine out often and have a pretty good handle on what’s around. This is the best dining experience we’ve had from top to bottom in like a 30 mile radius. A few key things we LOVED: *the food was dynamite. Took the server’s suggestion and got the burnt ends as an app. Five stars. Our meals were timely and delicious. I got the filet, she got the brisket. *friendly and attentive staff. Let’s be honest, not an easy find in 2025. *was not what we expected in a bbq place. I’ve been to many that really hammer down on the honky tonk vibe. That’s tolerable and expected, but not necessarily my thing. This place was refreshing. I absolutely will return and plan to turn more people onto this place. They had my wife using words she never uses to describe how good the food was! lol that says something.“

“BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Love Cana's BBQ !! - This was always my 'go to' restaurant whenever I had guests, but I am afraid it will no longer be the case. We will drive to Amherst/Northampton in future. I recently had relatives from England and we always come to Cana when they are here BUT This time was a huge disappointment. We ordered the BBQ only to find out that their selection of sides had been reduced from 10 to 5. Even the broccoli was reduced to 2 very small pieces. How are you going to split that between 4 people? The other 5 sides which were usually included, are now available for additional cost. Their prices are not cheap to start with, but we have not complained because the food is really good, but to spoil one's reputation for the sake of a few cents to add a few more pieces of broccoli, or a full selection of sides for a party of four, is certainly not the way to increase your bottom line because now you have lost these customers.. With drinks and dessert our bill was close to $200, and we always spend at least that mic at Cana!“

“One of my favorite restaurants in all of Enfield!! The steak is so fresh! I love getting the park crust on my steak! The food is out of this world! Very consistent! The service is exceptional! The staff is wonderful and are vey accommodating with young infants. They go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. We once had a waitress make a homemade rattle for our daughter out of two to go small containers! It was so sweet!“
