“I can’t recommend this bakery highly enough! They make absolutely beautiful and delicious cakes for special occasions. I ordered a dino themed cake and a mermaid cake for my daughter’s past two birthdays and everyone was so impressed! So much detail was put into the decorations.“

“I have been going here for years - since it first began with the previous owners! For all you reviewers that say it is over priced - couldn't be further from the truth! A meal usually runs between $18-$25 if you want an additional side dish say roasted potatoes to go along with the New England Cod (fresh off the boat!) - that will feed 2/3 adults. The only time required is to pop them in & out of the oven. Those of you who prefer to trek to grocery stores, wait in line, prep your food (throwing out the surplus or having it go bad because you don't use it all) AND after cooking your meal then have to clean multiple pots/pans - have fun with that! Time is $$$ and I'm saving a ton by heading to DISH! Patrick (owner and chef) has greatly improved this business since it first opened - kudos to him and all his employees (never met a rude one yet)!!! Keep up the great and tasty work!!“

We had 3 meals which consisted of brisket, ribs and half chicken with the sides of Mac n cheese (which to me could use a little smoke flavor or cheese with a little more flavor. “Battlegrounds is a cool little coffee shop right on the heart of downtown Haverhill. They have all sorts of fun coffee flavors and their own beans for sale. The baristas were very quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is a typical cozy coffee shop with couches and tables to choose from. We loved that we were able to sit on the couches by the window and watch it snowing while we drank our coffees (which were nothing too special, but were still good). We would come back here again if we were in the downtown Haverhill area.“

“I love this place. As someone who follows a keto way of life, I really appreciate the keto selection, although small, at this bakery. At first I thought xylitol may give me issues but I was surprised there was no distress.Please remember when shopping here that sugar free does not mean low carb. Only keto can really be that.
