“La Victoria has long been a go-to option if I need a quick and affordable lunch option, but this past week I got catering platters from them for the Friday night dinner for our out of town guests for my son's bar mtizvah. Everything was delicious, and it was easy for people to mix and match what they wanted to eat -- a real benefit for feeding a crowd. Alex at La Victoria made the ordering process easy! We will definitely do this again!!“

“We all had something different and everything was equally delicious. We started with a Caprese salad (amazing) and then each had a different pasta dish - including spaghetti with mussels. The sauce was slightly spicey (as advertised) and SO GOOD! The chef’s specials were perfect.

We enjoyed the relaxed interior and could comfortably converse in the cozy and authentic space. The chef checked in on us multiple times and the waiter was friendly and attentive.

“Absolutely my favorite place for sushi when adding together freshness, service, and timeliness. After moving to Massachusetts from Florida, there has barely been any place with real flavor up here. After checking the reviews I saw this place might have some potential for a good price. It’s a small restaurant with a few tables, and the perfect hominess. We wanted to go out somewhere for Valentine’s Day with our baby, not somewhere too crowded considering she’s in her chaotic phase, and we went here. We got a maki party platter for us and a chicken teriyaki for the baby. It’s an adult portion so we decided to have something for her to have lunch and dinner with the next day. The sushi came out and it was so amazing and honestly super fast too. Then came the babies plate, it comes with a miso soup so we were able to get her to try it and she loved that. Then we cut up her food into bite size pieces and as we were preparing it, even though I personally hate chicken, it was SO FLAVORFUL!! We had to keep going back to her plate for tiny bites because it was delicious, the chicken was NOT dry and it felt so clean and refreshing each bite. Then when in regard to the service, WOW the waitress was absolutely the sweetest ever, was so interactive with our baby and attentive to us. Our new regular place for sure.“

Tip: get there early, right when they open, and you (hopefully) won’t be waiting in line.

We have offices in Japan, and we have had sushi all over the world, and this was so very very fresh. We took the bus all the way from Cambridge just to eat dinner here.

I had the Hamachi and the scallop and the Toro, all very reasonably priced and all very fresh. Really surprised at the price of the Toro, because it’s more expensive even in North Carolina! Great value for such a fresh fish.

Six dollars for a Sapporo and $11 for a carafe of hot sake was also a great deal.

We also tried the Buta Barra Kaku-ni (which was the Japanese raised pork belly). And it was outstanding! We have a lot of pork belly in the region where we live, and this interpretation of it was so tender. It just melted in your mouth!
We also tried the umaki, which was the egg and the eel combo. It was good, but I don’t think I would get that one again when there are so many other fabulous menu options. But I’m glad I tried it.

Great selection of sake as well.

“Hands down the best Indian food in town. We tried their neighbors Punjab and Zomza (and they are good) but we like this one best! Our go to’s are the butter chicken which is incredibly smooth and flavorful and the Matar Paneer. Make also sure to try their garlic naan and mango lassi! The restaurant is very spacious and I appreciate that you can have a good conversation at dinner as it is not noisy. Service is attentive and friendly! Give it a try!“

Obviously their Bibimbap is to die for, but their Korean Grill items keep me coming back. The pork belly is divine!! “An offshoot of the late, great Jose's Mexican restaurant in Cambridge. Many of the selections are the same. We came specifically for the pozole, a chicken and homily corn soup. A large bowl was loaded with big kernels of corn and plenty of chicken. A friend who was born and raised in Mexico said Jose's pozole is top notch. Quality and quantity make for good value. We easily found parking on the street at no cost for 2 hours. Service was fast and friendly. They plan to expand inside and out so seating will increase. They're also getting a liquor license.

“I picked up a food delivery job just before the covid lockdown (great timing since I worked in retail..), and they have to be doing something right as I prob get more orders from them than almost any other place. And they've always got the pick-up/delivery orders running on time and on point! Not a single customer complaint (and their customers tip drivers accordingly, considering were gassing up our cars to deliver to people in the middle of a worldwide viral pandemic). Love doing pickups here! Great staff, clearly awesome menu! While you can't currently dine in, please order take out/delivery/buy gift certificates to help them get thru this!“
