“It's definitely on the more expensive side of Mexican food throughout the Boston area. Nevertheless service had no faults, and the food was incredible. The Birria Tacos and Nachos are a must-try. Also, there wasn't a wait for my table but if you come at six or seven, there will probably be a wait.“

“La Victoria has long been a go-to option if I need a quick and affordable lunch option, but this past week I got catering platters from them for the Friday night dinner for our out of town guests for my son's bar mtizvah. Everything was delicious, and it was easy for people to mix and match what they wanted to eat -- a real benefit for feeding a crowd. Alex at La Victoria made the ordering process easy! “Hidden gem! Classic bar with insanely good cocktails and food but keeping it real. Beet salad could compete with any high end restaurant. Smash burger and fries - no words. Oh pickle plate is a must - classic sweet to the unexpected root veg and snow pea mix. Great beers new and old. The bartender Mike brings it. He's cool and chill and makes the best subtle recommendations. Great fun to talk with. Great music, great vibe. Already planing a trip back for the reuben. Simple menu done right.“

“We were visiting the area to attend graduation and had brought our small dog. The restaurant accommodated our dog by allowing us to sit outside. It started to rain but the server quickly rolled down the awning and no one got wet. I'm addition to their excellent hospitality, the food was delicious. Our group tried the burger with egg, chicken and waffles, pork bahn mi and crab cakes. Fantastic experience to top off a wonderful graduation weekend!“

“Excellent food, service and welcoming space! This was probably our 5th time eating at Condesa and it is consistent. Plenty of free garage parking. Greeted warmly, seated quickly in a buzzing atmosphere with nice decor. There's a bar, high tops, booths and tables by the windows. We've had Diego A. as our server multiple times and he is fabulous! Plenty of cocktails or beer to choose from - excellent margarita's btw. The food is delish - nice menu of options and if you have a question or special food requirement, it's not a problem at all. Very reasonably priced too. It's definately part of our restaurant rotation when we want a nice dining experience and terrific food. Kudos to the entire management and staff!“

I order about once or twice a month, and I usually get a carnitas bowl with assorted veggies and plantains (as you can see in this pic). I opt for no rice or beans, but get some refried beans. A+ for customization.“

“An offshoot of the late, great Jose's Mexican restaurant in Cambridge. Many of the selections are the same. We came specifically for the pozole, a chicken and homily corn soup. A large bowl was loaded with big kernels of corn and plenty of chicken. A friend who was born and raised in Mexico said Jose's pozole is top notch. Quality and quantity make for good value. We easily found parking on the street at no cost for 2 hours. Service was fast and friendly. They plan to expand inside and out so seating will increase. They're also getting a liquor license.

“If you want delicious food for good prices this is the place. The food is simple but done incredibly well. The staff are kind and attentive. It is easy to be vegetarian here.
Also their hot sauce is super hot and flavorful. It is ground up fresh chilis. Test it out before dousing your meal, just a heads up :).

“I walked in Saturday night at around 6. They treated me with a enthusiastic hello (actually two people). I got a barbacoa bowl which was loaded with a healthy portion of meat. I even forgot to add something and they didn't have a problem backing up to throw some peppers on.
