The customer service at the location in Malden was excellent, our waitress was so polite, personable, and the right amount of attentive. “A bunch of college friends from UMass and I met at the Yardhouse for a mini reunion. The Yardhouse is conveniently located for us, being right off I-95 and close to the north and south shores.
We arrived at 11:30 when they opened. We were promptly seated and spent the next 2 hours eating, drinking and reminiscing. The food and beverages were excellent. They have over 100 beer choices and a full bar as well as non-alcoholic beverages.
Best part of our visit was our wonderful server Michelle. She watched our table without being intrusive and took great care of us.
We are already looking forward to our next meeting at the Yardhouse. Hoping we get Michelle again for our server.“

“Came earlier for the reservation and went to the bar to wait for my fiancé. The bartender had the worst scowl on his face and took 7 mins to just say hi. Another 5 to get my order and make it. It was a Tom Collin's. 30 second drink; took 15 minutes. And he didn't make my drink correctly I had to coach him and even my fiancé noticed it and she was like let's go to the table. Then they sat us next to family with screaming kids. And it was my birthday so I kind of wanted a nice steak house and I got a McDonald's feel. The server was kind and knowledgeable of the menu and the pricing was fair. Steak cooked well and the crab soup was delicious. Didn't get the oysters location but they could be better. But yeah good spot, but damn a hello goes along way especially when I came out for a celebration and don't get out much like this spending this kind of money. Manager barely said hi and seemed like she did it as a courtesy to check the table instead of actually caring. I didn't touch a couple food items and would be nice to see a manager notice. I told the server but apparently word doesn't get to where it needs too for change to happen. Probably won't come back, definitely not to that bar.“

“First, I'd like to say I tried contacting Charlie's before I went this route. I didn't get a response. I've been to Charlie's with a group of 8 for lunch. It was very good. We got what we ordered and everything was delivered together. On Friday, 4 of us went there for food and drinks before the Folk Festival. Okay, Corona, I asked for lime. Didn’t get it. No biggie. Two of us ordered hamburgers, one ordered a tuna sandwich, the 4th haddock. Nope, no haddock. Okay, sirloin tips. Nope. Country chicken. Nope and don't know what it is. Okay....I'll have a hamburger. 15 minutes after (mind you 25 minutes have already passed), sorry. no buns. How about white bread! 40 minutes after initial order, hamburger on white bread and something resembling a tuna sandwich (?) arrives. We felt sorry for the waitress. But definitely poor service. I'm sorry I have to post this, I like helping local businesses, but lack of listed items was horrible.“

“I was there on a Saturday with my family around 8pm ish . We went bowling and took my 8 year old autistic son . They had a DJ and had a great time. But My son who is autistic was stimming because of to much going on after a while which he sometimes do . I forgot his headphones so we decided to ask front desk if the had autism friendly sensory things ( like headphones) I asked a very nice girl named HOPE I believe , she said they don’t and told me they do offer sensory days which is great. I went back to bowling and just tried our best to deal with it till we were done. Hope came back and told me she can check if the other staff has some type of ear plugs or something to help the situation although they did not have them. I was really appreciated that she went Above and beyond to help me figure out the situation, so thank you HOPE for your help. Also, I’d like to throw the idea out there that many kids have sensory issues maybe a couple headphones for autistic kids could be available at the facility. I would be happy to help with some ideas in the future , with me having an autistic son I can help with some ideas if that’s a possibility in the future. but just an idea and throwing it out there that it would be great for us Mom’s but anyways, I just wanted to thank HOPE for her help! “So we wanted some fresh oysters and we got more than we bargained for.. We sat at a very roomy contemporary bar and received the best service one could ask for on a Sunday .. GO SEE Denise !! Recommendations were on point to what we were looking for .. Denise was friendly hospitable great knowledge of her drinks and food and always served with a smile .. Her sidekick John who delivered the food was always smiling and friendly.. You have to go here to see Denise . She will make your day ..“

“I can’t explain the experience that my husband and I had here this past Saturday. I have to eat gluten free and my husband found Tavern in the Square had a large selection of gluten free items for me to choose from. Brandon was our waiter. He was very knowledgeable about my allergy. Through a little bit of small talk with Brandon, we shared with him a situation that we were going through. Tavern in the Square in Burlington and Brandon went so far above and beyond for my husband and myself when they didn’t have to. I have not stopped telling people the story of the most thoughtful and kind people we have ever had the pleasure to cross paths with. Besides the amount of kindness shown, it was actually the best gluten free experience that we have ever had. The food was 10/10 💞We will never forget 💞“
