“Been on a total soup + noodle kick lately, so I finally made it to Kyuramen - Winchester in Winchester — & WOW, worth the hype! 🙌🍜 Started off with the spicy chili dumplings (perfect amount of heat) & the popcorn chicken, which honestly might be the best I’ve ever had. They may not look fancy, but they’re seasoned perfectly & cooked to perfection. I went for the Ying Yang bowl — so many protein options & so insanely flavorful. He got the tonkatsu omurice, which was not only delicious but such a fun presentation.“

“Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. There is plenty of seating and parking at their location at Western Avenue Studios. The coffee is generally light-to-medium roast and they offer an array of interesting, unusual coffee drinks (I only drink espresso, straight, so I can't comment on those). At the time of this review, they have been cranking out lots of new food items. The staff is extremely friendly, always offering a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic "Enjoy!" when I pick up my order. The owners truly live by what Buddhists call "right living". They are very community-focused, and it shows. If you haven't checked out Nibbana, you're really missing out on a special place.“

“india Pizza in Lexington, MA - A Hidden Gem. I recently visited India Pizza in Lexington, MA, for the first time and wasn't sure what to order. I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. I only interacted with one staff member, but the service was fast, and I didn't have to wait long for anything. I highly recommend you try their food. I'll definitely be coming back. The food at Pressed Cafe is always good (healthy, delicious food you can get quickly is hard to find, so we go to the many locations often). I happened to go the Lawrence location yesterday and seriously the whole staff was so kind. I went through the drive-through and the woman taking my order was so sweet! I ordered a lot and she double checked it all, had me pull up and wait a little bit (it was a good amount of stuff). I was sitting outside waiting and could see inside and the kitchen was moving. “First time there, was on a whim due to a Google search for burgers. Snappy Patty’s did not disappoint!! The cheeseburgers, tots, and beignets were on point!! Delicious, well cooked, and well seasoned!!! I’m from the south and this is the FIRST place I have ever recommended for burgers. The decor is phenomenal!! The colors and pics on the wall.. you have to see it!! Everything from Sesame Street, Star Wars, to classic rockers are present on the walls!! The music is the perfect level!! You can talk and have as conversation, but still have background music. Something I have found is not always the case. The staff is unbelievable. I felt like I was a regular that had been going for years! The communication with ordering to hid the staff works senselessly together is an added bonus to this experience. Yes, experience.. when all your senses are activated.. a restaurant/bar isn’t just a place for food and drinks. It’s a place that comes to life. “We ordered the Burrata salad, Porterhouse (Oscar style) and a couple drinks... All were outstanding! The crab was perfect. The steak was perhaps the best I've ever had and cooked to perfection! My Old Fashioned was unique, but delicious and the Burrata was light and fresh. The server, Matt, was extremely personable without being intrusive and really helped set the tone of the evening. Highly recommend!“

“Most corporate feeling ramen shop I've been to.

Went to Brookline one last year, and this new Burlington outpost this past week. Kyuramen’s parent group bought Aoko last year, so with this location, they had a counter up front so that you could grab a matcha gelato on your way out.

The whole chain is obviously built around ramen, but both my friends and I gave up on that side of the menu after Brookline. Instead, we went with our usual order. Pork katsu with omurice and some apps.

From the apps, we got the chili cucumber and the chili wings. Chili cucumber was bad. The rule with chili cucumber is you need a decent amount of chili sauce either pooled at the bottom or mixed all the way through, and more importantly the cucumbers have to be sliced paper thin, because I hate that raw cucumber smell and thin slices keep it from coming through while making the bites more refreshing. These were cut thick and uneven. Chili wings were just fine.

Best thing was the pork katsu omurice with demi glace, which took forever because they apparently “ran out” of fried rice, then they comped it, so not a lot of complaints. Not mind blowing but good satisfying comfort food, and the one thing I'd order again, which is a little odd at a place where almost everything else is noodles.“
