“We visited this great location during a “road trip” from Florida. We were greeted by Travis who was very welcoming and took the time to answer my questions about a couple of items on their menu without making me feel rushed. Since we couldn’t decide, we tried many items including their Oatmeal (the best we’ve had during our travels), Quiche (excellent), Avocado Toast (superior flavor), Summer Toast (great mixture of flavors with great blueberries), Chai Tea (just right), Peach Lemonade (very refreshing) and great coffee. Bolton Bean will be our “must go” place when in the area in the future.“

“The attendant is very nice, I usually stop here after going to Long lake and they are always kind to me and my lady and I am grateful for that because it's not always the case everywhere you go and every time I go here the people are very pleasant.“

“Melody Maker is the biggest meme. Their Google menu is full of little comments and laughs, the people are hilarious but their food and coffee is no joke. I'm very judgemental on espresso drinks and yet I've never had a bad one from them no matter who made it. It's always smooth, never burnt or old tasting. Their food is amazing and I crave it regularly. The atmosphere is incredible. If you haven't been here then you're wasting your time.“

“I’ve visited 3 times. The first time, the coffee was good as was the pastry, but it was expensive. The other 3 times the service was so slow that I left. There was no one else standing at the counter but the employees were more interested in chatting and texting than taking my order. I store there for at least 3 minutes each time. “Change can be hard. When we learned that Acton Coffee House was sold and that changes were going to be made, we were skeptical. After all, what was wrong with the old format? Chris & Meredith, the new owners had big ideas. They excitedly mentioned some of the changes that they'd planned, including the new seating arrangements. Could that possibly work for our often crowded daily morning group? We weren't sure. But Chris has been accommodating and solicitous, and assured us that he'd make it work for us ~~ And he has.
In addition, new yummy food offerings are now available ~ bagels & lox, avocado toast, yogurt parfaits, and overnight oats. (My husband's favorite)
As before, the barristas are friendly, competent, and cheerful.
The only change that disappoints me (and this is minor), is the placement of the baked goods. I used to derive great pleasure in watching the young children walk up to the pastry window at their eye level, trying to decide which of the treats to choose..

We tried a sweet cream bread that was surprisingly light and delicious, as well as a warmed chicken and cheese croquette. Everything was delicious. “Stayed here for about two hours in between business meetings. Product is just what I've come to expect. Good coffee. My only complaint was there was a cold breeze in the lobby even though the doors were closed. Probably coming from the HVAC and it didn't matter where I sat, the cold air was moving pretty good. After a while I was able to ignore it. There was barely anyone inside, so maybe the HVAC is set to a setting expecting more people inside putting off body heat, which is typical for many Starbucks.“
