The flat white here is a latte and the beans are not good. I think this is somewhere to go more for Turkish coffee or American-style syruped coffee. And (probably) good pastries!“

Fresh or canned fruit are delicious options they have. It's an angel food cake with a airy light frosting not too sweet. The fruit itself is the sweetness.

“Great cannolis here! But not as strong as another option in the area in my opinion. They do offer more flavors than other shops in the area (pro), but we found the shells less crispy (con). The atmosphere is a bit cold inside, as well, as they do not have any seating to enjoy your goodies in the cafe - and seem to almost usher you out of the cafe by wrapping your box of pastries up with string and tying immediately. We did not get the same ‘family-owned’, warm vibe that some of the other pastry shops offered. Service was very friendly regardless. Definitely worth a trip if you’d like to try a unique flavor of cannoli!“

“Great food selection and reasonable prices. The first pic on google is a different bakery from the others. They’re right next to each other, but the first pic (it’s the left one in the building) was cash only the last time I visited. The sesame balls are so good, definitely come here if you’re looking for something sweet. I think it’s run by one person! The food is definitely the real deal.“

The ambience is very cute and they allow dogs that are not just service dogs. The community and area is beautiful and the neighborhood is friendly and the homes in this area of South Boston are so amazing with their old historical charm.“

Got a prosciutto and parm baguette, lots of goodies sprinkled throughout. Sfogliatella was a little hard, but once you get used to the texture, the flakes and filling combine very well.“

“Tatte Bakery & Cafe - Back Bay was recommended in so many articles while I was researching places to try in Boston, and now I totally understand why.

I visited the Back Bay location a couple of times during my trip. It does get busy and it can be pricey but the food is absolutely worth it.

The sesame seed coffee kept me coming back (so unique and so good). I also had the Egg in the Hole two fried eggs nestled in a sesame Jerusalem bagel, served with a chopped salad and OMG that bagel was incredible. So fresh, flavorful, and perfectly textured.

The indoor is beautiful elegant and cozy.

I’m honestly sad I won’t be eating it again anytime soon… unless I fly back to Boston“

Came with the right amount of everything so if you wanted more or less, it was up to you. Ofc onion, tomato and capers. Suggest with jalapeño cheddar and scallion CC. “I would rate 4.5 stars. We got the raspberry cream puff. I've had beard papas a lot in Japan. This one is close! The Japanese one tasted better in my memory but that could just be you know, being in Japan. Makes everything taste better to me. This cream puff was pretty fresh, not warm but was obviously made that day. The cream is silky and smooth and rich and has vanilla beans in it. I'm reading it slightly lower because the topping was not my favorite. The raspberry topping was like an icing sugar but it was very artificial tasting. I just wish more places would do a natural real raspberry, like that nice tart tanginess.“
