“Cool place!! Frozen margs are on point! It’s always fun to find little speak easy spots - you enter through the cooler door! Also the street tacos are yummy- the rock shrimp tacos are my fav. It’s also quick and easy if you just want to stop for a quick bite!“

“Great experience this past weekend. It was a busy Saturday night. We ate at the bar which it seems like lots of locals do that. Plenty of space at the bar to eat. Bartender was great. Drinks were epic. Food was so good! Will definitely come back. Thank you to the hostess for fitting us in. She was a doll.“

“We came there 20 minutes before closing but they served us quickly with take out service. The dumplings were really great, the best I've ever tried. I'm a vegetarian so I ordered teokbokki because there weren't any fish cakes in it but we tasted a strong fish flavour so I assumed there was fish sauce inside, but not mentioned in the menu. I didn't ask for it, so it's partially my bad. But a vegan/vegetarian sign next to the dishes would be appreciated! Service fast and efficient“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taco Azul and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
The moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the Owner Dan who made me feel instantly at home. Their genuine hospitality and attentiveness set the tone for the evening. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, checking in on us periodically without being intrusive.
Our server, Michelle was equally remarkable. She were knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and exhibited an impeccable level of professionalism. They truly made me feel like valued guests, attending to every detail with a friendly and accommodating attitude.
And then there was the food — absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was a work of art, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The Quesa-steak were standout items that I can’t stop thinking about. The ingredients were fresh, and the balance of flavors showcased the skill and passion of the culinary team.
The combination of outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and incredible food made this dining experience truly exceptional. Taco Azul deserves all the accolades, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal. I’ll definitely be back soon!“

“When your breakfast just hits the spot & the nostalgia kicks in. Never disappointed when we come. Same timeless flavors today as they were 14 years ago. We have eaten here numerous times of the past 14 years Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. This location has very intimate seating for about 25 people. If your coming on the weekend expect a wait. Well worth it ! We have eaten everything on the menu and our most recent visit was for breakfast. Everything on the menu is delicious and flavorful! Orange juice is freshly squeezed and just like everything else , it's delicious. Service is amazing it's nice to see the same faces. Everytime we have come we never wait very long for our food to come out. My go to is the Centro Americano brings back so many memories from my childhood. The scrambled eggs with chorizo, the plátano maduro, queso fresco , avocado and the frijoles the tortillas Mmmmmmm. My husband always likes the Chilaquiles with green sauce. If you want traditional American breakfast they have that also. So this is a stop for everyone! Hope you get to enjoy a meal here and make memories like we do .“

“Since relocating from the New England area, I've missed access to Villa Mexico Cafe. This year, I ordered their infamous (authentic and delicious) Black Salsa for the whole family for the holidays! It's a real treat and one I'm grateful for. Their food and service have always been spectacular (and spectacularly friendly). Well worth a visit to their Boston location... or a mail-order if you are not in Boston! Viva la Villa Mexico Cafe!❤👍“

“If you’re looking for the true taste of Mexico in your food, I 100% recommend this taqueria in Boston. The flavor, presentation, and quality of their food are the best we’ve found across NY, CT, and Boston. In fact, their taste and quality even surpass the famous Tacos #1 in NY. On top of that, the staff’s attention is outstanding. This is a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors!“

“First time I went yesterday! Thanks to the young man who helped me! I really liked the al pastor burrito that I ordered to go! The boy was very gentle and nice! He had spent a terrible day in the hospital; When I left I made that stop and I assure you I was very pleased! Thank you so much!“

“Great spot for a quick bite. Never fails to produce a tasty burrito with great additions. I love getting a jumbo spicy steak with the cilantro lime rice and all the other toppings. It's been a weekly staple for my food rotation and I look forward to one of those tasty rolled up packages of goodness every time!“

“I liked the burger. Truffle Gorgonzola fries were ok— I liked the fries, but didn’t really like the sauce. Stomach felt a little funny after, but not sure if that was the burger or fries.
Food came quick. Space was clean and small but not crowded.
Parking lot out back had multiple spaces available and was $1.35/hr. There’s some 2 hr free spots a few blocks down but you have to parallel park. Some 1 hr free spots closer to the restaurant but those were almost all taken Saturday lunch hour.“

“Cory was fantastic. Attentive, great service! We had large nachos, 2 margaritas each- Strawberry and passion fruit, burrito bowl, and fajitas with shrimp. All in $78 each. We will be back! The food has flavor and was affordable too. This restaurant is better than the Savin Hill Mexican restaurant.“

“THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. I UNDERSTAND RESTAUTANT INDUSTRY IS NOT EASY BUT FOR ME TO GO TO AND SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE THAT FEELS SO FORCED TO WORK IS NOT WORTH MY TIME NOR MONEY.“
