“Perfect little sub shop in Backbay. We opted for the Italian Sub to go. The atmosphere was awesome with a lot of locals getting what seemed to be a regular daily lunch meal. The staff and customers seemed to know each other and a sense of community was ever so prevalent. The food itself was outstanding, even after a 5 hour train ride it traveled with us to ur next stop. Highly recommend this place. Truly a diamond in the rough.“

“The food at the Shy Bird in Fenway was absolutely delicious, especially the Chicken Dunks with the homemade sauce dips they were all so good we couldn't choose a favorite and the butternut soup was absolutely incredible, with its little kick of spice and sunflower seeds! Our server was top-notch,very attentive, friendly and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. The chicken was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and with just the right amount of peri peri spice. The cheese complemented the spice so well and brought all the flavors together beautifully.

“Love Tu y Yo in Somerville but quite a drive for us. This has the same owners and much of the same menu and is much closer. This restaurant was wonderful! My favorites are the cactus salad, the tamales, plantains, and birria tacos. Mole wasn't my favorite, and pozole was good but a bit salty. Staff were really friendly and welcoming! Definitely looking forward to coming back!“

“I’m a native New Yorker with my share of Mediterranean meals under my belt. I visited Za’tar when we stopped in to pick up takeout.

From the jump, the staff was super friendly and attentive to our order. They surprised us with fresh hummus samplers as we waited.

The restaurant is just the right size with cute dine-in tables and a busy to-go counter. It was easy to see that this place is well-loved.

Taking our order home, we loved our beef and hummus (with fresh, fluffy pita). The schnitzel was tender, and the ground beef and kebabs hit the spot.

“I was visiting from out of town for work and one of my favorite foods is chicken, wings, and pizza. I looked on Google for woodfired pizza restaurant close to my aloft hotel. The pictures of this place looks great based on the atmosphere and the pizzas looked amazing, but I know how pictures can deceive. There was no deception here. The pizza was fantastic, toppings sauce, and cheese all the way to the end of the crust and I got to tell you the chicken wings were phenomenal. I got the sweet Thai chili, which did not disappoint. They should bottle that stuff. I’d buy it. If you’re in town or even just local, you need to check this place out.“
