“Had a GREAT meal here with several friends before attending a concert at a nearby venue. The hot chicken was delicious (I went medium spice), and the seasoned fries hit the spot. Ordering was easy with the kiosk, but you could give your order to the clerk behind the counter. The food didn't take long to be brought to our table, and their service was impeccable! “My nonprofit group enjoyed a private party at Tokenfire. The hot appetizers were a great start to the party, with meatballs, pork dumplings, the best brussel sprouts and savory flatbreads. We enjoyed the authentic Shepherds Pie, perfectly grilled salmon, and a vegetarian pasta dish. Dessert, including a fig bread pudding with salted caramel gelato and tiramisu was fabulous. The service was excellent and the ambiance was delightful. I hope to return when they have live music.“

Inside its a standard mid-sized local sports bar that I get the sense has a loyal local following. To my surprise food was above average and staff was very very friendly. Full bar, but limited draft selection if your a beer snob this probably isnt your spot.“

The portion size is out of this world and has all the things a dry beef chow fun should—sliced white onions, green scallions, bean sprouts and of course, wok heiiiii. 😍 Will be back to try more of their offerings, especially the roasted duck that you can see hanging; the beautiful aroma filled the shop. Ngl this is the best Ddeok-bokki I’ve ever had. It tastes like how I would cook it at home, creamy, rich, flavorful and cheesy. The portion was big which surprised me and half of it filled me. The rice cakes were big and chewy. It also had boiled egg, cabbage, and fish cakes. I normally don’t like the fish cakes in Ddeok-bokki but this was good!

“I have to say, PuPu has come a long way. For a few years the quality went way down. I would just go to Tahiti even though it was farther away. I would say now how the turntables turn. I think Tahiti is gross now, and PuPu has went above and beyond. Check out my pfp. The food has full rich Chinese flavors, and the portions are huge! We ordered through Grubhub, and somewhere in the ordering process Grubhub changed our order location to Cambridge. While Grubhub offered absolutely no help in the issue, both the Cambridge and Boylston St locations worked together to transfer the order to the correct location. This ensured we were not double charged and that we still got our food at the time we needed it. We are so grateful, and excited to eat our delicious BBQ chicken!“
