“Got to have a good cold beer and some great food this past Friday before Participating in the 250th Anniversary of The Battle of Bunker Hill. We came all the way from Roxboro North Carolina. People were friendly, don’t know if it was my Southern Accent 😁 but either way I had a great time relaxing at the Tavern.”

“Pier 6 is an amazing restaurant with great food and stunning waterfront views. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively yet relaxing. It’s a perfect spot for a casual meal, date night, or enjoying the sunset by the water. Highly recommend Pier 6 for a memorable dining experience!”

“Do yourself a favor - skip over the Boston restaurants and head straight here. I’ve been coming for years and the food never disappoints. The service is great. And there’s gluten free on Monday - what more could you want!? Fabulous.”

“Had my birthday celebration at Blackmoor today. Excellent experience all around. Large Beer and Cocktail list and the appetizers were amazing! I had the Cod and it was one of the best meals I've had. Excellent service and atmosphere and this delicious desert to top it off! Highly recommend!”

“Go on Karoke night. The is a woman who sings “green eyes lady” that blew me away.
Reminded me of the Hideout in Chicago and that bar in Starwars.
Great spot, great sign, great talent behind the stick.”

“This is sneaky the best place I've been in the Boston area for desserts. The first time I went I got a thin layered pistachio cake with chocolate which might be one of my favorite cakes of all time. The next time a blackberry pudding with layers of blackberries, chocolate and vanilla pudding, and a bottom layer of blackberry cake. The Turkish food we had the first time was delicious too. It's nice that it's in a sense cafeteria style so you can choose what looks good. Anyways back to the desserts. I dream of them. Every time I drive by I look longingly out the window. Seriously trust me on this one. Come for the Turkish/mexican food but please please save room for dessert.”
“Great class very informative about chocolate and fun making the truffles.”

“It's like I'm greeted by family every time I go. Solid pizza, solid subs, very reasonable prices — we live on the other side of Charlestown but it's our main go-to when we're tired to cook and don't want to spend forever figuring out something or wait for Doordash — even on Friday nights things are basically always ready in 15 minutes.”

“I went here for the first time today and I was quite pleased! The cashier/barista was very sweet and she made a really lovely matcha latte. I added the tiger syrup which was delicious and tried the butter mochi, also very good.”

“Finally made it to The Anchor and I was not disappointed. This place had a spot for everyone! Quieter areas near a neat water fountain, shaded areas, and high sun areas, and even an upstairs with amazing views of the waterfront. I was there on a Saturday World Cup double header as well as the first day of the parade of sails, got a great spot in front of one of the smaller TVs which gave me a great view of the game, the waterfront, AND of the sea of reactions from fans watching the big screen. Employees were great, kept things moving without making us feel rushed!”
