“The food and service at 80 Thoreau were terrific. We were fortunate to be seated in a quiet corner. I think other portions of the room were pretty noisy. We'll be back, and we'll recommend 80 Thoreau to others. My only concern is that the menu is pretty small, so I hope we'll be as fortunate next time in finding something we want, and that it will be as delicious as last night's dinner was.“

“Not normally a solo eater, I stopped by the Club Car Cafe in W. Concord, yesterday, and had the most delicious lunch. I ordered the veal parmigiana sandwich which came with fries and, on a 90+ degree day the iced tea I ordered really hit the spot. The veal parmigiana was as good I’ve had at many Italian restaurants. The portion was generous and the price value relationship was excellent. Club Car Cafe has an extensive breakfast menu which is served until 10:45. I had originally planned to go for breakfast but didn’t make it in time. Next time, I will start out earlier. I did pick up a blueberry scone and blueberry muffin, on the way out, and we enjoyed them for breakfast today. Club Car Cafe is a family run restaurant and Bianca and Ron made me feel so welcome. If you’re in the West Concord area, I would definitely recommend having breakfast or lunch at the Club Car Cafe. If you have a little train lover, he/she will enjoy seeing the real trains going by as well as the toy train set , high up on the wall, traveling round and round the restaurant. The menu is extensive and I am fairly certain the Club Car Cafe has a Childrens menu. Handicapped access is something I always look for. There is a ramp on one side of the building!“

“I will choose a good breakfast/brunch over going out for dinner most times. The Farmer’s Daughter never disappoints! They have a great selection of seasonal specials and drinks as well as staples on the menu that I come back for over and over. “A GREAT Hot Dog and a cool and tasty Italian Ice. Fresh, soft buns for the dogs with a huge assortment of fixings. I selected a half and half Ice of Strawberry and Watermelon. The strawberry was refreshing and delicious but was NOT sickly sweet. The Watermelon was wonderful and did not have that chemical taste that so many watermelon-flavored products have. It was very natural tasting and was really awesome with the strawberry (I recommend it). A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE THE KIDS, or for a first teenage date! “Burger was exactly as ordered. Not sloppy or dry, just a good burger on brioche. Saw many other tables get food that looked great too (e.g. prime rib, haddock, parmesan chicken, etc...) “My family and I just returned from the Charles River Chapter of the Bay State Council of the Blind Holiday Party at John Brewers. It’s at least the 12th year we have been going there. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. The food is always good and they provide braille menus. We all had a great time.“

“We have frequented NYAJ‘s for years, the Burlington location may until it closed, then Beverly until moved to Peabody. Recently the Peabody location closed.....not sure why ? Now the closest for us is the “new“ Bedford location. Very nice, enjoyed the back room, it's away rom the main dining area / bar. Nice and quiet. We shall return.....too bad locations keep closing“

“First, my apologies for not posting this sooner.

We had a Day-After brunch last month following our Class of 75 reunion the previous evening. I had reserved space for twenty, but only half of us were able to attend.The outdoor seating was perfect as was the weather. The service and food were excellent (I have been going about avocado toast all wrong...that was wonderful).

Anyway, my classmates and I enjoyed our time together there. I would not hesitate to go there again.
