“This was our first visit to 80 Thoreau and we were very happy with the experience. The food was great with unique menu options. The service struck the right balance in terms of being there at the appropriate times. And the atmosphere and noise level was great even though the restaurant was full. We definitely had a nice time!“

“Not normally a solo eater, I stopped by the Club Car Cafe in W. Concord, yesterday, and had the most delicious lunch. I ordered the veal parmigiana sandwich which came with fries and, on a 90+ degree day the iced tea I ordered really hit the spot. The veal parmigiana was as good I’ve had at many Italian restaurants. The portion was generous and the price value relationship was excellent. Club Car Cafe has an extensive breakfast menu which is served until 10:45. I had originally planned to go for breakfast but didn’t make it in time. Next time, I will start out earlier. I did pick up a blueberry scone and blueberry muffin, on the way out, and we enjoyed them for breakfast today. Club Car Cafe is a family run restaurant and Bianca and Ron made me feel so welcome. If you’re in the West Concord area, I would definitely recommend having breakfast or lunch at the Club Car Cafe. If you have a little train lover, he/she will enjoy seeing the real trains going by as well as the toy train set , high up on the wall, traveling round and round the restaurant. The menu is extensive and I am fairly certain the Club Car Cafe has a Childrens menu. Handicapped access is something I always look for. There is a ramp on one side of the building!“

“Four of us had a nice lunch. Since we were meeting 2 people we've not seen in quite a while, we did a lot of talking and the noise level in the room was a little bit loud for conversation. We stayed a long time catching up with our friends, but the staff was wonderful and did not try to rush us along. They understood that the Colonial Inn is a great meeting place for friends on a beautiful fall day.“

“Whenever I’m craving a saucy, spicy pepperoni pizza, Comella’s in Concord is my go-to. The pizza is always flavorful and just the right amount of heat.
There’s limited seating and not a huge drink selection, but the menu is solid and consistent. If you’re ordering a lot, call ahead, there can be a wait. Simple, reliable, and always hits the spot.“

“A GREAT Hot Dog and a cool and tasty Italian Ice. Fresh, soft buns for the dogs with a huge assortment of fixings. I selected a half and half Ice of Strawberry and Watermelon. The strawberry was refreshing and delicious but was NOT sickly sweet. The Watermelon was wonderful and did not have that chemical taste that so many watermelon-flavored products have. It was very natural tasting and was really awesome with the strawberry (I recommend it). A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE THE KIDS, or for a first teenage date! Also, a perfect place for day workers in Sudbury to get quick and delicious lunch.“

“Went for the first time today 11/20 got the number 10 was very good i asked if i could have blueberries in it was told no problem. Had to excuse myself walking back to my table i notice the door to the kitchen was open saw the chef was cooking i told him that the was outstanding chefs never hear the good only the bad he told me his name was Paul. “My family and I just returned from the Charles River Chapter of the Bay State Council of the Blind Holiday Party at John Brewers. It’s at least the 12th year we have been going there. “Sat in the bar area with my best friend and our daughters. Food took a tad longer than we would have hoped, but for a recently-opened restaurant everything came out looking and tasting amazing. Our server Adrienne was waiting tables and bartending and we were impressed with how attentive she was to us and other tables even though she was hopping behind the bar for customers too. Also extremely attentive to my daughter's food allergy, and we loved how it was brought out by a manager- we felt the extra boost of reassurance that her allergy was acknowledged and taken seriously. “Went for dinner on a holiday Monday evening and maybe that was part of the problem. It was easy to find and the restaurant itself is very nice. There was one table filled when we got there and after they left we were the only people there! I felt bad for the staff that it was so dead. The food was delicious and service was great! I would have given 5 stars if it had just been a little busier because it does knock the ambiance down. Will definitely be back another time to check it out - probably be packed then LOL“

“I can’t explain the experience that my husband and I had here this past Saturday. I have to eat gluten free and my husband found Tavern in the Square had a large selection of gluten free items for me to choose from. Brandon was our waiter. He was very knowledgeable about my allergy. Through a little bit of small talk with Brandon, we shared with him a situation that we were going through. Tavern in the Square in Burlington and Brandon went so far above and beyond for my husband and myself when they didn’t have to. I have not stopped telling people the story of the most thoughtful and kind people we have ever had the pleasure to cross paths with. Besides the amount of kindness shown, it was actually the best gluten free experience that we have ever had. The food was 10/10 💞We will never forget 💞“

“First, my apologies for not posting this sooner.

We had a Day-After brunch last month following our Class of 75 reunion the previous evening. I had reserved space for twenty, but only half of us were able to attend.The outdoor seating was perfect as was the weather. The service and food were excellent (I have been going about avocado toast all wrong...that was wonderful).

Anyway, my classmates and I enjoyed our time together there. I would not hesitate to go there again.

“Quite often, one finds himself at the hospital under stressful conditions. What a wonderful relief it was to enjoy a hearty breakfast at MGH Waltham Cafe. A good helping of perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, tasty corned beef hash, and a side of thick oatmeal topped with a delicious cup of coffee helped me cope as my wife underwent surgery. For all the jokes about patient hospital food, I find that cafeteria hospital food is often excellent. MGH certainly backs up that opinion!“
