“My girlfriend and I went for a late Valentine’s Day dinner and when I say the atmosphere alone is worth the experience and the food is just an added bonus id be selling the whole thing short. We’ve done our fair share of dining out and the moment we walked in we were wowed. Last year we went to a place in providence called Marcelino’s boutique bar and Olivia’s felt like it had that same atmosphere but better lighting not too dark not overly bright. Now the good stuff We got a bottle of dr loosen reisling to drink and The Baker - New Bedford focaccia safe but excellent start. Apps we decided on the Maryland crab cakes, I HATE greasy crab cakes, but these crab cakes 🤌 amazing. The remoulade brought the flavors the crunchy crab filled cake needed (little secret use the lemon it elevates the flavors of the sauce and a little acid to complement the crab divine). I ordered the white fish of the day with miso and brown butter crust with pastinaca & grilled broccolini ( disclaimer I did not eat the green trees) but the pastinaca was amazing and something new to me. Light and fluffy but buttery and creamy I’d eat it again. She ordered the steak frites probably one of the best seasoned pieces of meat I’ve ever put in my mouth ( little secret ask for extra chimichurri butter you’ll thank me later) and upgraded the frites to parm truffle fries. Classic dish done right 10/10. Perfect medium. Dessert nothing short of a perfect end/sweet treat, Emma’s chocolate chip cookie amazing second personal favorite but that is neither here nor there. The affogato perfetto, perfection I upgraded the gelato to the salted caramel (they happened to have some from another dessert) and was not disappointed. Sam ordered the classic espresso martini and was in love, although not being a big baileys girlie she really enjoyed the drink.“

“My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Saffron by the Sea! This is our 2nd time dining here. The first time was for dinner and this time we went for lunch. We have found that sometimes when you go to a restaurant for dinner and then for lunch. The quality of the food changes. This was not the case here. Our server (Alphonso), was very friendly and helpful with the menu. He was able to recommend excellent options, based on our likings. We loved the food for dinner, based on their suggestions. So, we took a chance on their completely different recommendations for lunch. We have to say that we were so pleased with all of their recommendations! We are looking forward to the next time! Can’t wait to see what they recommend next! This was definitely a 5 star experience! We highly recommend you try it out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Stopped by last weekend for drinks and apps. This place did not disappoint! Drinks and food are both great, lots of drink choices. The atmosphere is really cool but best of all is the bartenders/ servers, our favorite is Chelsea!! She is so friendly, outgoing and right on point, we didn't ever have to wait for drinks. Chelsea keeps a good eye on her customers and comes over just before your drink is empty offering a new one. The establishment is great, but Chelsea keeps us coming back!! Hope you never lose her🤞“

“Delicious birria and chorizo tacos as well as quesadillas. Food is served very quickly and staff is quite friendly. Restaurant is very small though, with only 3 or 4 tables. Not too many parking spots, but restaurant is in a very convenient location with easy access. Would absolutely visit “

“Always enjoy my selections, have tried many different dishes,lastly being your tuna melt( enjoyed) and was enough for two meals.Hubby is picky eater(always orders your clam chowder) along with some type of seafood.Thanks 👍“
