“This place is a solid dive like bar with a cool atmosphere & great bartenders. When we first got there it was packed with a lot of college aged kids watching the basketball games. Thought about leaving since we were looking for a more bar stool bum kinda place but after talking to the bartender Sean we decided to stay. Crazy coincidence was that his last name & my married last name were almost exactly the same. Only off by one letter which was hilarious (had to be there/ know the last names). We also chatted about closing Wolski's which is a must do for any Milwaukeean or visitor who loves a good ol dive bar. Sean was great with getting drinks to us fast as well as other bar recommendations that were our style. After being there for a bit it cleared out & the bar stool bumming began. If you are looking for a good place to have a cold one at with great convos with the bartenders, pop in here.“

“Finally made it here! It was everything we imagined, and more. The bartender was also our server. He was efficiently managing the whole place. Started with an appetizer special of corned beef poutine. We also had corned beef pizza and shepherds pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for great food, beer, service and a cozy Irish pub atmosphere this is the place for you. We can’t wait to come back.“

“I love this place. My friends introduced it to me when I first moved to the area and my husband, son, and I have been going ever since. They do dollar oysters every day until 5:30pm, which is hard to find these days. It's the best deal in town! We also love the poutine and there's usually a few great local/seasonal beers on draft. Great atmosphere and the guys who work here are friendly, efficient, and helpful. Highly recommend!“

“Had to try the famous chicken Cesar pizza because who doesn’t like salad on a pizza? It literally tastes like how it seems but weirdly good, and there’s so much cheese on top I think that’s the main reason I like it. Their steak tips is also delicious, the steak is well marinated filled with rich red winey flavors.“

“Stopped by for a drink and some darts this afternoon while wandering around Boston. Fantastic, friendly spot. The bartender even gave my girlfriend her last mozza stick as we were leaving. Does it get more friendly than that? Fully recommend for anyone looking for a chill spot to drink nice beer and relax. Thanks!“
“The Tall Man and I were looking for a low key hangout with baby in tow, and Distraction Brewing was the perfect place. This new-to-us brewery on the cute pedestrian-only Birch St. had an outdoor patio but we opted for seats inside. It's not a big place, but it has a good number of tables and bench seating in a brightly lit space. The Tall Man got the autumn flight of 4 beers (one being one of their maltinis), which he enjoyed for their variety. I wasn't up for imbibing so I got a Health-Aid kombucha from the fridge. (They also carry Athlete's nonalcoholic beer in cans.) They have some packaged snacks for purchase, but they encourage people to get food from local businesses to eat there. It was pretty darn convenient to pick up lunch from nearby Chilacates. It made for a very chill lunch and sip. We weren't even the only ones with a stroller! It was a relief to find a brewery that's not utterly mobbed and where we could bring the little one. I would definitely come back for another relaxing hangout.“

“We frequent Cook at least once a week. It’s our favorite place in Needham. The staff, the food, the atmosphere never disappoints. Although the entire staff is tremendous, we especially enjoy when Anderson is on the bar. He’s beyond friendly and always attentive. He makes a flawless drink with his rhythmic shaker!! Definitely recommend.“

“We stopped by here for an early dinner at the bat before a show at the MGM Theatre. I had the fried chicken sandwich which was simply delicious. Crispy and not too heavy or oily, served with yummy home-made (?)pickles and thick cut fries. Very reasonably priced too.“

“Came here with my girlfriend for a quick mid-week dinner and left feeling satisfied and impressed! The eatery is small, and has a dark-cottage like feel. We sat ourselves and were served promptly. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, which was very juicy and jam-packed with minced pieces of fajita vegetables. It was delicious and cheesy. Every ingredient was very fresh and of good quality. It came with a side of cheesy refried beans, which were incredible! They were so good I'd honestly order them on their own. Wow! My girlfriend reported that her Bahn Mi sandwich was good, but a little on the hotter side. If you're a spice lover like me, though, that is a perk! Overall, we had a great dinner at Shay's and will definitely be back!“

“This is the go to spot when my coworkers and I get out of work. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel like family. They'll always call you by name. Susan and John are very personable bartenders. When serving someone new, John will always say "My name's John, let me know if you need something". Food wise, I've only gotten the wings, and they're pretty good, perfectly crispy. My coworker raves about their taco salad. Overall, a great place to let loose and enjoy yourself after work.Kid-friendliness: Kids are definitely welcome, but it is a more adult oriented environment. There is a corner dining section away from the bar, which is more appropriate for children when it comes to seating.“

“Other than the overly priced gift shop, everything else was amazing. Not that I didn't buy anything cause I totally did but $80 for a hoodie is kinda crazy to me. Maybe it's just Boston ?♀️None the less, we enjoyed the scenery, the bartender and the food. Love the upstairs replica of the bar from the actual show. More importantly, my mama really enjoyed being here and was glad to finally make it to Boston all the way from Texas.“

“We were deciding what to eat for our anniversary dinner. One kid wants sushi, another wanted ramen or chicken katsu, wife wanted sashimi and I wanted Yakitori. We landed on Omori Izakaya.Parking was easy right on the same street and plenty of spots available at dinner time on a Saturday. We got there earlier than our reservation. We were seated immediately with maybe few more tables open. We order some Yakitori and appetizers to start. The pork belly, chicken gizzards and chicken hearts were extremely flavorful. The chicken skin was crunchy perfection. The octopus was grilled to perfection with a little of mixed spices on top. Hotate Kaiyaki came out on a little warmer with a little flame and very cool presentation. Tako Yaki was good as well. For main courses we order chicken katsu dinner and dragon roll and caterpillar and sashimi combo. The kids love the chicken katsu. They also loved the maki rolls. Sashimi also fresh.Overall we had a great time. The food were very good. The stars were the Yakitori skewers.Parking: Plenty of meter parking on the same street as the restaurant.“

“My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this pub for dinner on a Saturday night. Despite the busy evening, we were seated promptly. The atmosphere was just right - not too noisy, allowing us to have a peaceful conversation. The pub has a decent amount of seating, considering its size. The staff were friendly, laid back, and added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, it was a no-fuss, enjoyable dining experience. We’d definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area.“

“Was in Boston for a few days just gone. I was recommend Mr Dooleys by a friend. It was luckily right next to my hotel. (A big plus) Without doubt the best pub I’ve ever been to in the US. The atmosphere was great during the day and in even better in the evening. The service was superb everyday we went in. The food is amazing. We had a wide range of food and it was all so good. However, the best part was the Guinness. Absolutely phenomenal. One of the best Guinness I’ve ever had. Better than most here in London. Highly recommend and all very good price. For a good city bar/pub.“

“A solid step above your typical pub grub, this cozy spot is great for date night or gathering with friends. “It's a bit shocking as you expect a dive bar, and they do have dive bah tendencies, and the food is all amazing! Talk about service, the bartenders are some of the best around. You're not going to go here for high end, you are going to go here to understand what a neighborhood bar and restaurant is. And it's amazing. Will note - at busier times the parking sucks, bit there is the church parking across the street ?“

Ciro and the guys at this place are personable and v friendly, the type of atmosphere you can’t really find anymore nowadays. definitely recommend to anyone, especially if you have a few hours to spare and can make the short trip out the airport. i only had a burger but the other dishes other people ordered were proper portions, looked delicious and all at a great price. also guiness pints are under 8$, try double at the airport. definitely worth the free bus and the 10 min walk out“

“Very limited menu (due to the tiny kitchen) but the food is excellent. Good selection of beers, though not as extensive as The Gaff, the bar that preceded it. Appears to have a killer cocktail menu, though stopping in at noon kept me from trying one. Glad to see this space filled by a great, welcoming new owner.“

“Pleasant food, somewhat hasty service. I had the impression that local customers were given an advantage. We waited a little longer than we should have but luckily there were only a few of us in the room. Beers not grouped by type making it difficult to choose.I then returned... another person to serve, affable and patient with us tourists. Also ate very well.“

“Very nice spot for food and drinks. Our waitress service started out good and then went down hill. I've never seen an ice tray with oyster shells, used lemons and plates stay the entire dinner melting away. I was never asked if I wanted another $14 drink which I'm sure the owner wants to sell. We also had to share our water. My wife said (she just watched you taking some of my water and never came over) A little food left and we finally were served a carafe of water. Waited a while for the check. Several tables around us empty. I stood up to find someone and she came over.“

Our orders were made as requested and served in a timely manner.Full Review:Located at The Langham, Boston, The Fed offers a delightful dining experience with its nice atmosphere, good food, and reasonably good service. The restaurant lives up to its description as a British-inspired cocktail bar with a sophisticated New England twist. On our visit, we found the surrounding environment to be pleasant, reflecting the quality settings that The Langham is known for. The Fed, much like the hotel's Grana, provides an inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the lobster roll, burger, and steak frites, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. Our orders were made as requested and served in due time, showcasing the kitchen's quality and attention to detail. While we did encounter a minor issue with the hostess, the situation was quickly addressed and rectified by the management. The quality customer service we received in resolving this matter was commendable, and we appreciated the professionalism displayed by the staff.Overall, our experience at The Fed was enjoyable, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in Boston. The combination of a nice atmosphere, good food, and reasonable service makes The Fed a worthy dining destination. 4/5.“
“Cheap drinks and good food! What more could you ask for? This is located in an interesting spot but it certainly a great place to grab a drink and meet some local Cantabrigians. The bars atmosphere is very lowkey and inviting so expect to meet some new people! This is a great place to go watch a sports game and drink with friends. Also, the drinks are extremely cheap which is very nice.Note: the bar is cash only but they do have an ATM if you forget to bring cash.“

“I recommend anything but the calzones. I’ve ordered food a bunch of times from Franco’s, a few times in person and 3 times via Grubhub. All 3 times I ordered through Grubhub I chose a calzone. The first time the calzone was cooked fantastically, but the last 2 times it was raw dough in the middle where the folds are. The last time I ordered a calzone which happened to be raw in the middle I just threw it away because I didn’t have time to make a complaint. I ordered another calzone tonight hoping it was just a fluke (New cook? Just super busy and overlooked? Whatever, we all make mistakes NBD) since everything else in my order was perfect. When it arrived I checked the calzone and it was raw again. I made the decision to call the restaurant to let them know and to see if I could send it back for something different. The man on the phone told me I was wrong and that he cooked it himself and it wasn’t raw because “he checked”. I told him it most certainly was raw and that I was hoping for an exchange. He said he couldn’t do anything for me and I’d have to call Grubhub about that. He said I’d have to go in person to exchange it. I said “okay fine I guess I’ll call Grubhub” and then he said something I couldn’t understand and hung up on me. I’m really disappointed. I frequent Franco’s for karaoke and spend money at the bar and restaurant often enough to expect a fair exchange and some decent customer service when I need it. I asked for his help and he offered me nothing. Order anything else but the calzones unless you like your dough to be raw, I guess? I HIGHLY recommend the jalapeño poppers though. They’re always perfect and a surprisingly good size.“

“We had such a great time at Beantown. We visited for a work event, knowing it wasn't the place to bring the business people in town. However, the history surrounding the place is unmatched. We had the greatest server, Emily, who was fantastic. Anything we needed, she ensured we had it. She had a lovely smile, a great attitude, and a can do whatever you need the entire time. Thank you! Emily, without you, the experience would not be the same“

“A bar as comfortable as a well worn pair of shoes. A chill vibe and excellent food!Oysters were plump and fresh, their Asian prep is great: yuzu soy, ginger and wasabi. Very tasty! Their house cocktail sauce is good too.The Smoked Seafood.Chowder was a surprising standout! Chock full of smoked fish and in a "not too rich" cream base, this isn't an overly thickened chowder and one of the best chowder I've had.Lobster Roll is very good and well priced. Not too overly dressed and LOTS of minced lobster, topped off with a strip of bacon. Seems to be a P-Town thing, bacon on a Lobstah Roll. I'm not mad at it at all! Good sweet potato fries, the harissa sauce can use more harissa. The CURRY FRIES are legit!Good beer and whisky selection.“

“Friendly staff, including folks I know from High School, relaxed atmosphere, and tasty pub food. Highly recommend the BLT plate, and their Burgers are delicious. Definitely get their sweet potato fries, those things are addictive. Can be a bit busy at times, but it’s a down to earth local bar/pub. Good for a night with that family, or watching the Pats. They also have a large variety of drinks and spirits. “Yup. Believe the hype. Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed to the gills, yet I got a seat at the bar, a beer, and my food super fast. Sports bar atmosphere. Nothing fancy, because the focus is on the food. I went for trad wings and some extra hot boneless. Boneless might have had a tad too much breading that made them fall apart a bit, but the flavor was 9/10. The wings on the bone though were the best I've had in a long time. Very traditional. Perfect fry, perfect heat, perfect acid, perfect size, perfect moisture. They know what they're doing with these. 11/10“
“I went there a couple months ago when I had a friend visited me. Very nice, calm atmosphere. The age of the people are not college kids, 20 year olds, they are a little older, so it is more calm. The service is very nice. Out in the back, they have a separate covering where you can chill with people and have your drinks and food.“

“Walked here before a concert. We grabbed a high top and stole chairs from other people's tables they weren't using. We were trying to order food on the app when the bartender came over. She was super nice, asked if we needed drinks. Gave some recommendations. We started with tatchos, a Vermont cider and a Long Island. We also ordered burgers. I did not expect the food to be as good as it was. The burger was really greasy but honestly I haven't had a burger like that in so long-it was welcomed. Everything was so damn good. If we didn't live 2 hours away it would easily have been a regular visit.“
