“Great experience at a event for a family. Chester, the owner, did from soup to nuts. Decorating was on point very festive but so tasteful, getting the DJ Larry who was awesome, and providing the meal. The staff was very engaging without being intrusive and pleasant. The food was so good and plentiful. No one left empty handed unless they wanted to. The only downside was the parking and everyone found parking even if it was a little walk to the venue. This place is a must for good vibes and great food.“

“It's a small restaurant with a relaxed, informal atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. The food was special- so delicious that my husband, son and I agreed that this was our favorite restaurant. “I have only done take-out, but you can also eat here. The jerk chicken is good, and I have also enjoyed the oxtail and curry goat. The fish dishes are also tasty. Not as many vegetable sides as I would prefer, but still enjoyable as a treat every now and then.“

“My family and I were in town visiting. We stopped here to get some food before heading home. While the wait was long, the food was so worth it. Not only was the hostess so accommodating and friendly, but the portions were huge and delicious! Between the 6 plates, we ordered Chicken, fried turkey and the fried pork(griot) which were all cooked to perfection! 10/10 would highly recommend! We’ll absolutely be back whenever we’re in the area again.“

“Top Tier Authentic Good Haitian food in my opinion.I love their rice individually grained and light and not greasy. The portions are generous everything comes in its separate container from the meat, the rice and sos pwa or legume. For now on Fridays you get free mac n cheese with your order .This is your mother your aunt your Grandma your wife cooking food for you fresh from the kitchen with love.“

“Went here for the first time last night on a friends recommendation. Never tried Venezuelan food before but WOW we were absolutely blown away by the beef arepas and the mojitos . So delicious! We came on a Saturday and were seated immediately, and the food came out fast. Definitely coming back!“

“La Fabrica Central is one of my Latino cuisine restaurants in MA. I’m never disappointed. This time, a group of 5 people went to celebrate a birthday and everyone left so happy and satisfied.
The food is always delicious and the presentation is on point! Recently, our group of people ordered different dishes so we could try different things. The salmon with passion fruit sauce, ceviche mixto, mofongo con camarones, y la chuleta kan kan were delicious. I don’t eat pork, but the chuleta kan kan looked so good that I had to try it. Wow, it was cooked to perfection! The meat was so moist and the skin/cuerito was so good. Every single dish was delicious. The tres leche cake was delicious and the staff sang happy birthday. Throughout the visit, the staff was very attentive and fast.
As a bonus, they have live Latin music on the weekends and you can dance if you wish. They earned their 5 stars! ⭐️“

“i will definitely be visiting The D Coal Pot again very soon. The food is fresh taste great and really good. I was driving and came upon this restaurant i didn't plan on going to this restaurant but I said to self stop and get a few Patties and wouldn't you know they had no Patties. I left the restaurant with Corn Soup Peas & Rice Chicken Roti Beef Roti. I also got to try a dessert I've never had before I don’t know the name of it but had Guava Sweet Potato Coconut and other things to make this dessert which was really good so I ordered 2 to go. D Coal Pot is definitely a place you must visit and get a meal.“

“My favorite thing about Codman Square! The roti is delicious, all the cooks are so friendly, the music is great, Wu is everybody's favorite guy, service is fast, and the spice cake is in my top ten desserts ever. On top of all that, the veggie roti and doubles are vegan!“

Let me tell you! I was driving by and it caught my eye. So I decided to turn back around and check it out! I was lucky to meet the owner , Jabreel (I think that’s how you spell it). He was out of rice that day so we just got jerk chicken and jerk wings with sweet plaintains and mango salad. He told us to make sure we comeback and let me tell you, MY MAN AN I WILL BE BACK! The food was so good I couldn’t believe it! Highly recommend service and food was 10/10.“

“The meat and the rice were bone free, well seasoned, and delicious!!! A little dry, but I was doing a “too good to go” bag at the end of the day, so that’s okay.
I will have to come back for more!
Parking is tricky, because there is one entrance and one exit and they are not obvious, so be aware and careful when pulling in (especially if you’re crossing multiple lanes of traffic to do it), but there is free parking.
Also, lots of black ice right now in the lot, which is not the businesses fault, as I’m from of them it’s fine, but just be careful!!!“

“Great spot for Haitian food. There is a lot of places in the area that sell fritai or Haitian patties but not too many that sell all this plus rice plates, macaroni etc. You that real Haitian food your folks make. Food is amazing especially the rice and staff always has a smile. Food can take a but to come out but that's only because lots of Haitian food isn't "fast food" so I understand. If you want something quick get their fritai or dine out and order ahead and you probably won't wait long“

“This was my six-year-old’s choice for his birthday dinner! We used to frequent the South End location and since that one closed, we got delivery from Brookline. He wanted to write a review. His review is ‘they are the best cookers in the world.’ He also wants to give the meal seven stars. The food was great as usual! My go-to is the pabellon criollo, delicious and filling! Will have to come by and dine in soon.“

“Came here for the oxtail, was not disappointed! I do wish it had more meat on it but it was so flavorful and well seasoned. Perfectly paired with rice and beans &pikliz & plantains. The food was so fresh and smelled delicious. The place was a little hard to find but just look at the numbers on the door. Parking wasn’t bad.“

“Went in to satisfy the kid’s ice cream craving. We were pleasantly surprised at all the flavor choices! Walked home after sharing a scoop of oreo and cookie dough (sort of sharing, the boy can be a bit stingy when the food is good...) and with a meal each: jerk chicken and stew beef. We each had a filling dinner last night AND lunch today. Thanks! Looking forward to trying ALL the ice cream flavors :)“
