“It's better than I thought it was going to turn out to be... Coconut Mai Tai was a highlight. Peking Ravioli were just the way I like them with ginger sauce... Pork fried rice was obviously day old made to reheat and personally can make better at home, but honestly, on the whole better than I was expecting; considering what I've been told and overheard in passing. Which, until I heard they had hired a new cook had previously kept me away and from bothering to try it out.“

They called ahead of time to confirm what we wanted on the salad and I could tell they wanted to make it perfect…and they did! We had people coming up to us the whole party raving about how good the pizza and the salad were!“

“My parents enjoyed lobster rolls to celebrate their 71st wedding anniversary today. Loved listening to my Dad talk about his memories of the Stand opening in 1937. His family lived across the street and he said his oldest sister was allowed to take his older brother to get a free ice cream cone they were giving out all day. He was only 5 at the time and had to wait till his Dad got home from work to go get his. He also said he remembers there were service windows all the way around the stand and that day all the windows were busy all day long. Would recommend any and everything they serve. If it wasn’t great, it would never have survived this long.“

“Ordered a party size pepperoni and couldn't have been more satisfied. The roni slices were thicker than average, I couldn't even see space between them. It was 3 times normal. The sauce was perfect, not too sweet, no mint which some places use. Simple and pure. As far as the dough goes, there were more air pockets than in Joe Bidens brain. I remember this type of dough from my Greek grandmother when she would sit on the floor and beat the mixture in a stainless 30 qrt bowl as she made everything with flour every Sunday to last the week. Truly amazing. The quaint dimly lit interior with few tables reminds me of my fathers small bakery he had in Boston when we came to the country from Greece in the early 70's. Ill be going back.“

“Went there for a late lunch today, we've been there plenty of times before however this is the first time I think for lunch in a long time. The bartender I should have gotten her name she was amazing! Definitely keep her! The food was excellent we had the oysters and shrimp cocktail, Buffalo tenders, chowder, salad and seafood pasta. All 100% excellent. This is the best it's ever been since I've been going there keep up the good work!“

I decided to give alley CAT a chance after a BAD experience at Mama's kitchen. So I went to Mama'sKitchen. I ordered bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin with an extra slice of bacon and an OJ. She asked if I wanted a side of bacon and I said no just an extra slice on the sandwich. So she rings it up and it came to $15.45. I questioned it and asked for a refund. She explained the bill and that a side of bacon was $4.50 and I told her I didn't ask for a side. she started being rude to me telling me well thats how it goes, extra bacon comes on the side. What's sad is that a customer sitting at the counter even questioned her and why if I was asking for 1 slice of bacon that she would charge me for a whole side. Since the food wasn't cooked I asked her for a refund and she said they wouldn't do it, that "they are a small business and don't have the capability to do it" that is an absolute BS All "card swipe" machines have the ability to offer a refund. And before people start running their mouths it's only $15. It's the damn point.“
