“Great food all around. All the ingredients were fresh and made to order. The cashier was very sweet when I ordered. The prices are very affordable for Boston. I highly recommend this spot! I got the chicken burrito and it was so good and reasonably priced that it is now my go to spot for burritos. It is sort of like a hole in the wall so don’t expect a fancy interior. Regardless it is a must to check out and try their tasty food. They don’t play with the portions and their salsas are bomb!!“

“I would highly recommend this chinese food restaurant. There are an abundance of choices, and many different flavors you can try.
I've gone there several times, and I always order the Orange Chicken. It's really good, while having a good pricing. It's really sweet, and you can taste a hint of spice and orange flavor/scent.
It you want to try an unique flavor, you should definitely order the Singapor Mei Fun. It has an interesting garlic curry taste and it's really good. Def recommend
The service is also decent and they give extra sauce if you ask. Though, they will charge if u want extra extra. But, it's like 25 cents.“

“This place was a huge surprise and what honestly made our experience was Mario, our server! He was funny, attentive and helpful with the menu. It’s rare to find servers like Mario in the Boston eating scene and he made the experience what it was.

The lamb chops were my favorite, they were cooked perfectly medium rare, the spanakopita was top notch. All the food came piping hot which of course is always a plus.

Friendly and inviting. The food was absolutely amazing. Spectacular flavors, beautiful presentation, fresh and filling. My only issue was with my waiter. The support staff were fantastic, but after taking my order, I only saw my waiter once before asking for the bill. It seemed like he was overwhelmed and didn't have time or interest in checking on how I was enjoying my meal. But everyone else was great. Friendly and helpful. You must not miss a dinner at OSTRA. It's a wonderful experience!“

Every aspect of the meal, from the creative drinks to the delicious appetizers to the fantastic main course was outstanding. Our server, Alex, was attentive and very pleasant. “500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

“Perched with killer views, this spot dishes out some seriously tasty grub. The clam chowder was a creamy dream, and the fish and chips? Crispy perfection. Portions are massive—come hungry! The kids’ menu is a beast, packed with options for picky eaters.
But, it’s not all smooth sailing. Dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars because they tried to sneak in charges for kids’ menu sides that are supposed to be included. They claimed they’d fix it, but one charge still slipped through. Also, my beer arrived with some mystery substance smeared on the rim of the glass—yuck. They swapped it out quick, but still. Solid spot, just check your bill and your glass!“

“The cajun fries (medium spicy) were amazing. Shrimp and lobster were fresh and tasty too. Do note that they don’t come with any sides so you gotta order your corn on the cob and potatoes as extras (which were also tasty after being marinated in the Cajun sauce).

The staffs were all nice and attentive. It would be better if the soda wasn’t flat. Would also be better if a bucket could be offered at the table for the shells, so that the sauce doesn’t float everywhere.“

Katie, the bartender, made one of the best lychee cocktails I’ve had — perfectly balanced and so refreshing. I also want to acknowledge Gary, the director of operations, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find that level of hospitality. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxed, upscale vibe with top-notch service.“

A bit dark in the downstairs - wanted to sit upstairs but it was not open. But solid service and nice atmosphere - the star was definitely the fresh seafood. A bit pricey, but again - oysters on discount worth it!“
