“We dined at Rare Steakhouse tonight and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the Tomahawk, which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. We started with the flight of appetizers- Brussels sprouts, spinach, and mashed potatoes—all well prepared and flavorful. The complimentary bread at the table was a soft brioche with light salt and perfectly whipped butter, a great way to begin the meal.
We finished with the apple dessert, which was very unique and surprisingly delicious.
A special highlight of the evening was our waiter, Vidas. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly made the night memorable. We felt genuinely taken care of from start to finish.
We were very happy to share this experience and will absolutely be coming back-especially for the exceptional service. THANK YOU VIDAS!“

“We asked to be seated in the bar area because it often is quiet during lunch hours and it was. The food was delicious and our service was perfect. The waitress was around just at the times we might want her nearby. All in all we enjoyed a perfect lunch.“

“I have heard a lot about Moo but never had gone yet. Was impressed and hype to be there. We were instantly greeted by the host really nicely and were brought to our table in the back section. Which I honestly enjoyed. The ambience was so really warm and inviting. My ideal type of ambience, dim lighting, loved it.

“I don’t have too many steakhouse reviews but our experience at Mooo Seaport was outstanding. My wife and I, who live across town and don’t frequent Seaport, Ubered to Seaport last might for what turned into one of our best steak experiences in recent memory (yes it was that good).

We decided on the tuna tartare appetizer, followed by the Beef Wellington and cap steak (the latter, one of their specialties) and said we would be sharing everything. The tartare, a delicious combination of tuna, seaweed and a yummy sauce with seaweed and sesame oil flavor, was perfectly portioned on two separate plates for us, as was the Wellington, arguably the star of the evening (for my wife especially). Thin, crispy pastry surrounded the tenderloin and inside was an amazing duxelles with foie gras that topped the steak, served on a perfect red wine reduction.

However, for me, the cap steak was another level in terms of both richness and tenderness. Of course both steaks were cooked to a precise medium rare and paired perfectly with simple sea salt fries and a glass of CA cab.

Very solid beer and wine by the glass menus (and dirty martini loaded with blue cheese olives for my wife). Service was outstanding. In addition to everything being separated and perfectly presented, one of the servers from another table (Zach), whom we had known at the Capital Grille years ago, had recognized our name from the reservation list and came by to say hello! In addition, the manager came several times to make sure we had everything.

That level of detail, the “through the roof” level of the food and preparation, set Mooo above nearly every other Boston steakhouse, in the same conversation as Grille 23. Cheers, Mooo!“

“We were celebrating our 16th anniversary and my retirement, and wanted to do it up right! We picked the right place for it. Coming in from Cape Cod, for a concert at Fenway we had reservations for Abe and Louie’s, but there were 2 at the bar so they let us sit there instead of our table. Our bartenders were great. To our surprise, Bree almost immediately said “Happy Anniversary!” And our drink order was taken. Michelle made a spicy margarita with a nice kick and a heavy glass, and a soda. Then we ordered shrimp cocktail which were brought out in mere moments. The shrimp were huge and cold and crunchy- perfect! We took our time and were not rushed to order our meal, but once we did, with Kendal, she asked all the right questions, offered to split our salad in the kitchen, and made some great recommendations. I wanted my Filet with their wedge salad as my entree and was told no problem. Our meal, my huge filet and my man’s ribeye were both cooked as requested and his suggested garlic whipped potatoes were creamy and yummy! The food was all out of this world, but what made the dining a true experience was the tango these three women danced around each other, each knowing what the other was doing and exactly what their patrons wanted. You can get a great filet many places but I pay for the service and we both felt like we were treated like royalty. Thank you Bree, Kendal and Michelle for making our anniversary and my retirement a true celebration!!“

“We just had one of the best take out meals in quite a while! I had the filet mignon with french fries and a ceasar salad and my wife had the chicken on the barbie with sweet potatoe and house salad. My filet was done to perfection, was tender, warm and extremely tasty. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The brown Canadian bread was great as always. We did notice the salads were in new packaging which appear to yield less in the bowl, but that really didn't matter because the amount of food was enough to fill our appetites. Well She suggested Ashley, who was absolutely amazing! Great personality, great service, never felt rushed, checked back to see how everything was !! To top it off for the very first time in all the years I have been coming here this is the very first time we had a very nice Manager come to our table and ask how everything was!!! His name was Mike. He was walking around checking with other tables, helping deliver food. I was so impressed! “My husband and I had reservations for 5:45 on NYE. It was incredibly busy in a “mostly controlled chaos” restaurant way. We were greeted warmly by the hostesses and told it might be a few extra minutes. We were seated 5 minutes later. Within minutes of sitting down we had bread, butter and drinks. V, our server, was spectacular. Truly. As someone who worked restaurants for years she's an MVP. She was given a 4 and 3 tables of 2 all at once. Usually it works- unless you're transferring tabs from the bar and have 2 additional high tops. V made it work in a way I couldn't have. The food came out perfectly paced, everything was cooked EXACTLY as we ordered it, and despite being completely overwhelmed (all the staff were) my husband and I had an incredible dining experience. We grabbed Scott the manager before we left to let him know how great V was and that we would back. He was kind, gracious and friendly in a way that is often missing from management in the restaurant industry these days. A 10 out of 10 dining experience all things considered. My husband and I love a really GREAT meal, but we return to great restaurants for the SERVICE. I always know I'm going to get a great meal at RC's- but the service is what makes it. The Ruth's C's in Waltham- we ask for Rodney, at the Somerville location- it will be V. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location for it's ease of parking, fantastic service (hostesses, food runners, servers, bartenders AND management) Thank you to ALL of the staff who were working so unbelievably hard under insanely busy conditions- your commitment to your customers and your jobs didn't go unnoticed.
